Day 1: Siem Reap

Welcome to Siem Reap and the start of your holiday with us. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to your hotel. Normal check-in time is 1400pm. Early check-in is up on request with supplement

Day 2: Siem Reap

We rise early this morning to visit the famous Angkor Wat at sunrise, built for king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. The largest and best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious centre—first Hindu, then Buddhist—since its foundation. Later this afternoon we discover the former capital Angkor Thom home to dozens of temples including the enigmatic faces of Bayon, the imposing Terrace of the Elephants, and the three-tiered Baphuon. Preah Khan is a huge, highly explorable monastic complex, full of carvings, passages and photo opportunities. Later we go to Bakheng Hill where a beautiful sunset is always enjoyed. Day 3: Siem Reap

Today, we head to Banteay Srey, one of the most unusual temples of Angkor, Cambodia. It lies 20 km due north of the main group. It is built largely of red sandstone, which is covered with elaborate and deeply carved decoration. En route visit Banteay Samre. Where the style of the towers and balustrades bear a strong resemblance to the towers of Angkor Wat. Ta Prohm Temple unlike most of the other Angkor temples, Ta Prohm has been left just it was founded. Banteay Kdei sprawling, largely unrestored, monastic complex in much the same style as Ta Prohm. If time permitted, we take time to visit local orphanage centre and do some charity to support poor students by providing some study equipment. Overnight Siem Reap

Day 4: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh

After breakfast, take a domestic flight to Phnom Penh. You will be welcomed by other local friendly guide and driver who will transfer to check in hotel. Today visit and Tuol Sleng Museum then, we proceed to Killing Field now become the peaceful stretch of countryside where over 10,000 people were executed. The remains of some of them are stored in a memorial to remind people of the atrocities the Khmer Rouge inflicted on other Khmers. Overnight in Phnom Penh

Day 5: Phnom Penh

Enjoy a sleep in as spend today at your leisure exploring Phnom Penh your way. Overnight Phnom Penh.

Day 6: Phnom Penh - Saigon

Take the morning flight to Saigon. Up on arrival, we drive to visit the amazing Cu Chi Tunnels where we learn the firsthand how the Viet Cong survived in the extraordinary underground existence during the Vietnam war. Drive back the city in the late afternoon. Enjoy the evening at your leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 7: Saigon - Can Tho

Leaving Saigon in the morning we depart to My Tho boat station which belongs to Ben Tre. Cruising on the Mekong river watch river’s banks, fish-floating market and islands of Dragon, Unicorn,Turtle, Phoenix float by. Landing on Unicorn island, visit an orchard and enjoy seasonal fruits and listen to Southern traditional music. You will also visit a local coconut candy workshop, taste fresh candy. Get on a horse-cart on the countryside road. Discover Vam Chua natural canal (Ben Tre province) by row boat. Return back to My Tho and travel by road to Can Tho where we spend the night. Day 8: Can Tho - Saigon

Spend the early morning discovering the floating market named Cai Rang which is one of the most colorful markets in the area. Visit some orchards then back to the hotel to pack our luggage. Lunch is at a local restaurant before transferring to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon

Days 9-11: Saigon - Hoi An

Take the mid-day flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Hoi An hotel for check-in. The rest of your time here is spent at your leisure exploring this town independently. Overnight Hoi An.

Day 12: Hoi An - Hue

Leaving Hoi An you travel to Hue via Hai Van Pass. You will have a short tour to visit Cham Museum to study about the Cham civilization via the displays here. After that, visit Marble Mountain, a highlight of Da Nang before getting to Hue. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. Overnight Hue.

Day 13: Hue

This morning, you will visit the Imperial Citadel and Forbidden City, created in the 19th century for the Emperors under Nguyen Dynasty. We then drive outskirts of Hue to the impressive tomb of King Khai Dinh. This afternoon, take a boat ride along the romantic Perfume River. We stop at Thien Mu Pagoda to see the 7-storey octagonal tower and an old Austin car which transported the bonze Thich Quang to Saigon in 1963 for his self-immolation. Continue tour by boat to Minh Mang Tomb built between 1841 and 1843. The Emperor’s tomb complex consists of 40 constructions (palaces, temples, pavilions etc) designed on a symmetric axis. Day 14: Hue - Hanoi

This morning is free in Hue to discover the city on your own. This afternoon you will take to the skies once again for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to the hotel. Enjoy the evening at your leisure. Overnight Hanoi.

Day 15: Hanoi

Leaving Hanoi you will travel 2 hours south to visit Hoa Lu – the ancient capital of Vietnam. You will visit temples of Kinh Dinh and King Le – the very first Kings of Vietnam in the Past. After Hoa Lu, you will have lunch before transfer to Trang An boat station to enjoy 3 hour boat trip on the peaceful river to see the nice scenery and caves. Afterward return to Hanoi for your overnight. Overnight Hanoi

Day 16: Hanoi

Today is free for your to enjoy at your leisure. Independently exploring this city your way. Overnight Hanoi.

Day 17: Hanoi - Sapa

Today is free for your to explore on your own. Later this evening you will board your train at 2040pm to Lao Cai. Overnight on train (a private cabin for 2 pax)

Day 18: Sapa

Arriving early at about 06.00, you will travel uphill the Hoang Lien Son Mountains to Sapa and enjoy as many stops as you wish. Breakfast and check in Victoria hotel upon arrival if your room available. Later be shown around this charming town. A ten minute walk from Victoria hotel, you will visit the market where the ethnic minority people of different groups wearing traditional costumes made by themselves come every day selling local products. Later follow the footsteps uphill to the top of Ham Rong Mountain to view the beautiful scenery of the town and surrounding area, paying visit to an orchard garden and a mini museum which tell you a lot about ethnic minority people living in Sapa and the northwest. Day 19: Sapa

Today visit Ta Phin commune. Located in a large valley, surrounded by high mountains. Ta Phin Commune is home to the Red Zao and Black H’mong ethnic. After you drive up Fansipan Mount which offers most spectacular scenery. We’ll stop at the magnificent Silver Waterfall before reaching to the top of the highest mountain pass in Vietnam. It is the best point here to enjoy breathtaking scenery of the two side of Fansipan Mountain Range. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening is set free at your leisure. Overnight in Sapa

Day 20: Sapa - Hanoi

Spend the whole day exploring the spectacular Muong Hoa lying on the south of Sapa Town. Your car will take you along the only road built on the side of a mountain range, looking down the valley, leaving the main road, you will enjoy short walk to tribal villages such as Ta Van of the Zay, Su Pan of the Black H’mong, Ban Ho of the Ta, meeting locals at home and at work. Leaving Ban Ho in the afternoon, your car takes you back to Sapa, freshen up and then transfer downhill to Lao Cai station for taking the Victoria overnight train to Hanoi which arrives in Hanoi early at 05.30 to 06.00 next morning. Day 21: Hanoi - Halong Bay

Welcome back to Hanoi. Arriving early you are transferred to a local 3 star hotel to freshen up before your scenic drive leading us to the stunningly beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong Bay. Boarding our traditional wooden junk boat we cruise the emerald waters soaking up the panoramic vista of the thousand or so karst limestone islands that stud the bay. Overnight on board on the Au Co Cruise.

Day 22: Halong Bay

Earlier risers start the day with a Tai Chi class. After breakfast you will cruise towards Cat Ba Island where you will enjoy a guided excursion & biking in the national park of Viet Hai village and visit The Au Co organic farm. Afterwards continue cruising east to Vung Vieng village in Bai Tu Long Bay. After lunch you Vung Vieng floating village by traditional rowing boat or kayak. Swim in Vong Ha area. Continue on to Cong Do Area and cruise through Bai Tu Long geological park. Enjoy Dinner and overnight on board the Au Co Cruise

Day 23: Halong Bay - Hanoi

Your last chance to start the day with a Tai Chi lesson as the boats starts cruising quietly in Bai Tu Long Bay. This morning enjoy guided sightseeing of Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave. After a farewell brunch you disembark at Tuan Chau and return to Hanoi. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Hanoi.

Sadly your time with us has come to an end as you are transferred to the airport in time for your departure flight to your onward destination.
