Day 1: Siem Reap

Welcome to Cambodia! Upon arrival we will pick up from the airport and transfer to hotel.

Day 2: Siem Reap

Today is a free day for you to explore independently.

Day 3: Siem Reap

We depart to visit Angkor Thom is a 3km2 walled and moated royal city and was the last capital of the Angkorian empire. We also visit Preah Khan is a huge and highly explorable monastic complex. Late afternoon, we are going to visit Angkor Wat is visually, architecturally and artistically breathtaking. Evening walking tour of the Old market.

Day 4: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh

We drive out off Siem Reap for around 36 Km heading to Banteay Srei temple. On the way back, visit Banteay Samre, East Mebon, Pre Rup and Ta Prohm. Transfer to the airport for flight to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to hotel and chek in.

Day 5: Phnom Penh

Today we visit the National Museum of Fine Arts, Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda. This aternoon, visit Toul Sleng which was once a Tuol Svay Prey High School is now a frightening reminder of the horrors of Pol Pot regime.

Day 6: Phnom Penh - Saigon

Transfer to the airport for flight to Saigon (not included, please advise us if flight details that you booked change). We have noted that you have booked flight VN921 from departing at 14:15 and arriving into Saigon at 15:00. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to hotel and check in.

Day 7: Saigon

In the morning, we depart for Cu Chi Tunnel, an underground village, which became legendary during the 1960s for its role in the Vietnam War. Back to Saigon and we will spend time to explore the major highlights in Saigon. We come to see the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedrale and main post office. We continue with the visit to War Remnants Museum and Ben Thanh market, one of the most typical market in the region.

Day 8: Saigon - Can Tho

We travel overland through beautiful countryside of Mekong Delta to Vinh Long province. On arrival, we take a boat ride to visit a local orchard and the Cai Be floating market. Leave Cai Be, we visit a local family producing coconut candy, a specialty of the region. Lunch with local delicacies served in a bonsai garden. We then transfer to Can Tho.

Day 9: Can Tho - Saigon

In the morning we cruise along the small and picturesque tributaries by rowing boat. We will see the Cai Rang floating market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who live along the Mekong canals. We then drive back to Saigon.

Day 10: Saigon - Nha Trang

Transfer to the airport for flight to Nha Trang. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to hotel and check in.

Day 11: Nha Trang

Pick-up at 8.30 am from your hotel then we drive to Cau Da port. Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island is the first place to visit. Visit a fishing village and perhaps taking fresh lunch at the island. On the way back you will be able to see caves in which the sea swallows make their nest

Day 12: Nha Trang - Hoi An

Transfer to the airport for flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to hotel in Hoi An. Overnight Ancient House Resort Hoi An (Address: 377 Cua Dai road, Hoi An town Phone: ++84 510 3923377)

Day 13: Hoi An

This morning enjoy a walking tour of Hoi An including the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Assembly Hall, 200-year-old Tam Ky house and the Japanese Covered Bridge. Overnight Ancient House Resort Hoi An.

Day 14: Hoi An

Today is free for you to spend independantly. Overnight Ancient House Resort Hoi An.

Day 16: Hoi An - Hue

Afternoon, drive to Hue – the Pass of the Ocean Clouds with stops along the way to visit Marble Mountain and China Beach. (approx 5 hours).

Day 17: Hue

Your tour begins after breakfast with the ancient walled Citadel containing the former Imperial Palace. Spend the morning wandering through the enclosure before lunch and a trip into the surrounding countryside to see the final resting place of the Emperors at two of the most impressive Royal Tombs. Take a scenic boat cruise along the Perfume River.

Day 18: Hue - Hanoi

Transfer to the airport for flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to hotel.

Day 19: Hanoi - Sapa

Our tour starts at 8.30A.M. We will visit to Ho Chi Minh complex. We continue with a short visit to the famous One-pillar-pagoda nearby. Then we heading to the historical Temple of Literature. After here we will visit to Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Vietnam. In the afternoon, we will see Ethnology Museum. After here we will head to the centre to enjoy an interesting cycle ride to explore the lively Old Quarter of Hanoi. In the evening, take an overnight train to Sapa – Livitran Express.

Day 20: Sapa

The train pulls into Lao Cai at approximately 06:00am this morning, transfer to Sapa for breakfast. This morning take a light trek to the hill tribe villages of Cat Cat, Ta Van and Cau May. Walking to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, you meet some of the local ethnic minority people on their way to and from Sapa. Tonight you spend the night at the hotel in Sapa town.

Day 21: Sapa

Start your morning with a hike to a beautiful waterfall before continuing on to a picturesque Red Dao village. Red Dao women wear giant red scarves around their heads and their clothing is embellished with colourful red embroidery and coins.

Day 22: Sapa - Hanoi

Have an early breakfast. Check-out from the hotel and depart for the highland town of Bac Ha where you can wander through the district market, In the afternoon, you will have time for a last look around Bac Ha. Visit Hoang A Tuong Palace which used to be residence of the local H’mong Lord and then visit Ban Pho, where the local corn wine is named after, before driving to Lao Cai, where you will board the overnight train to Hanoi at around 20:15 hrs.

Day 23: Hanoi

Arrive in Hanoi in the early morning, transfer to hotel for early check-in and breakfast. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Day 24: Hanoi

We depart at 8.30A.M from your hotel. Our first stop is Hoa Lu, the place of former capital of Vietnam around 10th century. In the late morning, we depart for Tam Coc town for a delicious Vietnamese lunch. After lunch, we take a traditional sampan through beautiful rice paddy scenery and the three famous grottoes: Hang Ca, Hang Giua and Hang Cuoi. In the late afternoon, we drive back to Hanoi.

Day 25: Hanoi - Halong Bay

Our local guide will pick you up at the hotel for the transfer you approx. 3 hours to Halong Bay. At midday you can check-in for your cruise (no guide aboard the boat).

Day 26: Halong Bay - Hanoi

Today we disembark the boat and journey back to Hanoi.

Day 27: Hanoi

Today is sadly your last day with us with your departure airport transfer.
