Day 3: Siem Reap

Welcome to Cambodia!Upon arrival we will pick the group from the airport and transfer you to the hotel for the evening. This evening you can enjoy a welcome dinner! Overnight Somadevi Angkor Hotel or similar.

Day 4: Siem Reap

Get up early in the morning heading to watch the most beautiful sunrise over Angkor Wat. Back to hotel for breakfast then we will enter the South Gate of Angkor Thom Temple and marvel the wonders of the eerie Bayon, the terrace of Elephants and terrace of Leper King. Ta Prohm Temple unlike most of the other Angkor temples, Ta Prohm has been left just it was founded: the photogenic and atmospheric combination of trees growing out of the ruins and the jungle surroundings have made it one of Angkor's most popular temples with visitors. In the afternoon, we visit the famous Angkor Wat, built for king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. Enjoy watching the superb view of sunset then back to hotel. Overnight Somadevi Angkor Hotel or similar.

Day 5: Siem Reap

Day 8: Siem Reap

Today we will transferring to Kulen Mountain by mini bus. Return to Siem Reap and visit Banteay Srei temple. Later, we stop at the Land Mines Museum to learn of the tragic legacy of conflict in southeast Asia in the latter part of the 20th century. Learn about the rise of the Khmer empire, myths and legends and finally the sacking of the great Khmer city that once commanded much of Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand. (please note: a big coach cannot drive up to Kulen Mountain so I will change to 2 mini bus 25 seats). Overnight Somadevi Angkor Hotel or similar.

Day 9: Siem Reap

Today you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to the port to start your excursion to Prek Toal or Peak Kantiel floating villages. We cross the great lake and its flooded forest learning about the unique ecosystem of the lake and the habitats of the local flora and fauna as we go along. Continue to visit the bird sanctuary before returning to the village for a special lunch. After lunch we are taken by the villagers on a special Community Based Village Tour by traditional Khmer paddle boat. This tour was developed by the villagers themselves, to showcase different aspects of community life. It is a unique perspective on a way of life that is unimaginable to many of. Day 10: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh

After breakfast, we will depart to Phnom Penh Capital multicultural city at the confluence of the historic Mekong, Tonle Sap and Bassac Rivers. Spending around 06 hours maximum, upon arrival check in hotel for refreshment. We will take Tuk Tuk to visit Wat Phnom, a 15th century stupa. Wat Phnom, a small hill crowned by an active wat (pagoda) marks the legend of Phnom Penh City. Independent Monument, 100 Naga construction. Wat Phnom: the only one hill in Phnom Penh and historical of Lady Penh, and Phnom Penh City.

Day 11: Phnom Penh

Today, visit the National Museum of Fine Arts. Just cross the road, then we will arrive Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda facing the Mekong River, and its adjoining Silver Pagoda built in 1962 famous for its lavish decorations of silver paved floor and several Buddha statues made from precious metals & stones. This afternoon, we will transfer to the Tiny Toons Organisation (House 154, St. 369, Sangkat Chba Ampov 2, Khan Chamkarmorn, Phnom Penh Tel: 012-710-394). Shopping at night market.

Day 12: Phnom Penh

Today we visit Toul Sleng which was once a Tuol Svay Prey High School is now a frightening reminder of the horrors of Pol Pot regime. The school was used as a torture chamber and it was believed that 16,000 people died there. Next we drive out off town heading to Killing Fields. Later we will visit the Russian market and as the sun sets, a private boat cruise for approx. 1 hour on the Mekong River. Lunch at Bodhi Tree Restaurant. Farewell dinner at Bopha Phnom Penh Restaurant.

Day 13: Phnom Penh

Today is sadly your last day with us, you will have free time to relax and soak in the remaining time you have here before your departure airport group transfer.
