Day 1: Siem Reap

Welcome to the Cambodia! Upon arrival in Siem Reap airport, you will be met by your tour guide and driver before being transferred to your hotel. This evening enjoy a welcome dinner at The Nest Angkor Restaurant, that will introduce you to the unique flavours of Khmer cuisine.

Day 2: Siem Reap

This morning early you will visit the Angkor Wat Temple. This architectural master piece was built in the 12th century, took 30 years to complete and represents the Khmer civilization at its grandest. Covering 81 hectares, it is one of the largest religious monuments ever built. After a break for lunch, we continue to visit Ta Prohm temple, shrouded in jungle and left just as it was founded by French explorers in 1850s.

Day 3: Siem Reap

This morning, visit to the ancient city of Angkor Thom surrounded by an 8 m high wall. Continue to Bayon Temple in the exact center of the city. Continue to Bayon Temple in the exact center of the city. This 12th century masterpiece is a study in grandeur. The exterior gallery walls have extensive, superb bas-reliefs, particularly the East and South Galleries. We will also visit Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of Leper King.

Day 4: Siem Reap

This morning we drive to Lake Tonle Sap, arriving here we enjoy a boat ride across the open lake and its flooded forest. After an hour we arrive at Prek Toal floating village the entry point to Prek Toal biosphere reserve, you will enjoy bird watching along the waterways, the lakeshore and from the top of guarding platform where the rangers are working on monitoring and guarding the bird colonies. Enjoy lunch with the villagers and exploring their unique floating island before returning to your hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 5: Siem Reap

This morning we explore Banteay Srey, one of the most unusual temples of Angkor, Cambodia. It lies 20 km due north of the main group of temples and is built largely of red sandstone, which is covered with elaborate and intricate carvings. Later we visit The Angkor Centre for Conservation of Biodiversity (ACCB), located near the famous temples of Angkor, its the first nature conservation centre in Cambodia.

Day 6: Siem Reap - The Mekong Delta

Leaving the city we set off for Kampong Thom. Along the way we explore Sambor Prei Kuk. The temple site was built in the 6th and 7th century during the Chenla period and was home to its capital Isanapura. Arriving into Kampong Cham, then visit Silk weaving villages (Dom Na Prin and Prey Chung Kran) and rubber plantations. (OVERNIGHT AT - Monorom VIP Hotel (Superior Room) – Local 2*

Day 7: The Mekong Delta

This morning we make our way to Kratie. First, we take a ferry to Koh Trong island, which is a small island in the middle of the Mekong just opposite Kratie town. Here a local guide will bring us over small paths along beautiful traditional wooden Khmer houses and pagodas. Late afternoon, we head back to Kratie town and we make our way towards the dolphin pool of Kampi, here we embark a boat for a 1 hour cruise to spot the Irrawaddy Dolphin. Day 8: The Mekong Delta - Phnom Penh

Morning we depart for Phnom Penh, first by boat to Koh Paen Island and to see where the Bamboo Bridge is rebuilt every year in dry season. Then visit Wat Maha Leap - a wooden pagoda on the other side of the river about 20 km from Kampong Cham. After, we continue the journey to Phnom Penh and check into your hotel. Day 9: Phnom Penh

A sightseeing tour of the city will take in the Royal Palace, the incredible solid silver-floored Silver Pagoda and the National Museum, a treasure chest of Angkorian and pre-Angkorian artifact, Wat Phnom pagoda, the infamous Tuol Sleng museum and shopping at the Russian market. Day 10: Phnom Penh

This morning we rise early and after breakfast head straight out to visit the Choeung Ek and Tuol Sleng museum. This afternoon is at your leisure to visit the Daughters of Cambodia and the Ambre Silk Collection. (OVERNIGHT AT LA MAISON D AMBRE - 2 BEDROOM APARTMENT - 1 ROOM FOR 3 PEOPLE)

Day 11: Phnom Penh - Sihanoukville

We will drive you to Sihanouk Ville where you will check into your hotel, remainder of today is at your leisure. (Overnight The Sokha Beach Resort - Ocean wing Superior Room)

Days 12-14: Sihanoukville

Enjoy relaxing days of R&R on in Cambodia resort city - On one day of your choosing we have included a morning boat trip to Bamboo Island for swimming and snorkelling and a delicious picnic lunch, return transfers are arranged by the boat operator.

Day 15: Sihanoukville

Sadly your journey concludes today. We will transfer you to Phnom Penh Airport in time for your evening flight home.
