Day 1: Hanoi

Welcome to Hanoi, perhaps the most graceful, atmospheric and exotic capital city in Asia, thus marks the beginning of your Asian Odyssey! Arriving into the airport you will see our local team waiting to transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay

This morning a scenic drive leads us to the stunningly beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong Bay. Boarding our traditional wooden junk boat we cruise the emerald waters soaking up the panoramic vista of the thousand or so karst limestone islands that stud the bay. Later opt for a refreshing swim in one of the many sheltered coves before taking row boats to the floating fishing village of Vong Vieng. Tonight, there's a Vietnamese cooking demonstration held on the sundeck before an impressive seafood dinner is served.

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hue

Start the day with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck or a traditional massage. After exploring a lofty grotto hidden beneath towering cliffs, we sail back to port. Arriving to Hanoi mid afternoon we head to the airport for your flight to Hue in central Vietnam. Upon arrival in Hue, you are met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 4: Hue

Enjoy a full day tour of Hue including a boat trip on Perfume River (Huong River) to Thien Mu Pagoda and Minh Mang tomb. Thien Mu Pagoda is an octagonal tower of seven tiers that rises majestically over the Perfume River. Minh Mang tomb is perhaps the most majestic of all Hue’s tombs. This tomb is well known for its harmonious blend of architecture and natural landscape. After lunch you'll tour the Imperial Citadel and Forbidden City, built by the Emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty. Enjoy some retail therapy at the ever lively Dong Ba Market before returning to your hotel. Free evening.

Day 5: Hue - Saigon

Early morning flight to Saigon, arriving here meet our team who await to transfer you to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy an orientation tour of the city, visiting Notre Dame, an impressive neo-Romanesque Cathedral, the Central Post Office Building, Dong Khoi Street, formerly the center of haute couture and China Town. This evening consider sampling some of Saigon's acclaimed gourmet restaurants and bars.

Day 6: Saigon

Our local guide takes you out this morning on a day trip to Cu Chi. Here you can go underground to explore the vast network of tunnels and hideouts used by Viet Cong guerrilla fighters, see booby traps, trap doors or test your skill with an AK 47 at the firing range. Returning in the evening enjoy your last night in Sizzling Saigon.

Day 7: Saigon

This morning you will enjoy a cooking class, learning the flavours of Vietnam. Rest of the day is free.

Day 8: Saigon - The Mekong Delta

Today we drive into the Mekong Delta Often referred to as the ‘rice bowl’ of Vietnam, the fertile Mekong Delta is famous for its abundant harvests of tropical fruits, flowers and rice, as well as it fantastic views while boating along the canals. You will embark your cruise at Cai Be port and enjoy a welcome briefing sit back and enjoy the splendid views making stops to see floating markets, temples, quaint little towns and villages and more.

Days 9-10: The Mekong Delta

Spend today and tomorrow cruising the Mekong with the cruiser making stops to see floating markets, temples, quaint little towns and villages and more.

Day 11: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap

Enjoy Breakfast as the cruise continues into Phnom Penh, you will disembark Sisowat Quay in Phnom Penh at around 10:00 AM and meet our guide who will take you to the hotel. Later, A sight seeing tour of the city will take in the Royal Palace, the incredible solid silver-floored Silver Pagoda and the National Museum, a treasure chest of Angkorian and pre-Angkorian artifacts before ending our city tour with a visit to Wat Phnom pagoda and shopping at the Russian market.

Day 12: Siem Reap

Today we continue to Siem Reap to visit the Angkor Wat Temple. This architectural master piece was built in the 12th century, took 30 years to complete and represents the Khmer civilization at its grandest. Covering 81 hectares, it is one of the largest religious monuments ever built. Angkor Wat (the biggest Hindu temple in the world and one of the largest religious monuments in the world, was built between the 9th – 13th century. In the early evening climb to Bakheng Hill to enjoy the superb view as the sun sets over Angkor Wat.

Day 13: Siem Reap

Today is spent further exploring the Angkor Wat complex, entering the South Gate of Angkor Thom Temple marvel at the wonders of the eerie Bayon, the terrace of Elephants and the terrace of the Leper King. Afterwards, we continue to visit Ta Prohm temple, shrouded in jungle and left just it was founded by French explorers in 1850s.

Day 14: Siem Reap

After breakfast visit Beng Mealea Temple, a spectacular jungle temple around 60 Kms drive to the north east of Siem Reap. It is one of the "new" highlights of Cambodia; having only been cleared of mines at the end of 2003. We return to Siem Reap where we transfer you to the airport for your flight to Phuket (Via Bangkok).
