Wonders of the World

There have been many Wonders of the World lists that have been compiled over the years, since the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, of which there is only one sole survivor, the legendary Pyramids of Giza in Egypt.

New lists include the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, the Underwater Wonders of the World. In 2007 an official New Seven Wonders of the World list was compiled in an attempt to revive the concept of the Ancient Wonders. Jordan's incredible Rose City of Petra, the white marble Taj Mahal in India, The Great Wall of China and Machu Picchu Inca ruins in Peru, all deservedly made the grade.
