Inside a Soviet bunker

Imagine yourself in Russia during the cold war, I did when I visited Moscow recently and did the “Inside a Soviet Bunker” bolt on. We went 18 stories underground into the tunnels that were used during the cold war in case of nuclear attack. Dressing up in the old military uniforms, hats, gas masks and guns made for a fantastic group photo! Walking through the tunnels you were able to imagine how it would have been for those ‘lucky’ few, 1500 people, who would have been saved by the air filtering systems and food supplies if the big bomb had been dropped. When the air-raid sirens sounded and the tunnels were plunged into darkness just added that extra sense of ‘reality’!!!
