The third International Festival of Modern Music and Media Art, or MIGZ, takes place this weekend at the Krasny Oktyabr chocolate factory in Moscow. The festival has gone from strength to strength, now featuring a wider range of electronic musicians and producers and more lectures than ever before.
Apart from genres like techno and disco, this year’s festival will also feature more experimental genres such as glitch electronica, IDM and alternative hip-hop. Some of the artists and DJs on the line up this year include European legends Popnoname, Diskjokke and Mugwump.
Entry to the festival will cost 6oo roubles on the door, but tickets to the nearby MIGZ nightclubs are sold separately.
If you’re in Moscow this weekend, get down to Krasny Oktyabr factory, 2 Bolotnaya Naberezhnaya, Building 1. Metro Polyanka.
