Photo Showcase – Lawrence of Arabia

Re-released this year, Lawrence of Arabia is once again thrilling audiences the world over, 50 years after its initial release in 1962. Now digitally restored, the film has never looked better, with crisp imagery to compliment the epic scale and masterful acting from screen legends Peter O’Toole, Alec Guinness and Anthony Quinn.

Without computer effects and modern day digital trickery, there was only one way to film in 1962 – in person and on-location. The result is a spectacular film – which introduced audiences to extraordinary landscapes in places like Wadi Rum.
