Banyan Tree resort to open in Vietnam

21st Jun 2012

A new holiday resort is set to open this year in Vietnam, giving holidaymakers the chance to enjoy luxury accommodation in an idyllic beach location in the South East Asian country.

Banyan Tree has announced its first Vietnamese venture with its hotel complex scheduled to open in Laguna Lang Co in November.

Modelled on the Laguna Phuket complex in Thailand, the 280-hectare resort is situated on 3km of beach and is set to feature Banyan Tree and Angsana hotels and beauty spas, an 18-hole professional golf course designed by Nick Faldo, exclusive villas and apartments, conference rooms and a variety of sports activities and entertainment.

Guests will be able to stay in one-bedroom 131m² lagoon villas and 124m² seafront villas, while the Angsana Lang Co hotel will contain 229 suites with a size of 52-179m², with the option of having a private pool.

The Banyan Tree Residences Lang Co comprises a selection of private pool villas, while Angsana also offers a three-floors of beachside apartments.

The location is also convenient for tired travellers, at under 60 minutes drive away from Vietmam's Danang and Hue airports.
