One of Brazil's most famous beaches has become the publicity paradise for the latest in The Hangover film comedy franchise.
Bradley Cooper and Heather Graham took to the fabled sands of Rio de Janeiro's Ipanema beach, joined by co-stars Justin Bartha, Ken Jeong, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms.
They were chilling as part of the global promotional tour of The Hangover Part III.
All of them wore somewhat skimpy swimwear to take in the heat of the Rio sun so favoured by sun-worshippers on city breaks.
Graham and co-star Jeong took to the Atlantic waters as they played chase in the foamy waves.
Ipanema is next to Copacabana Beach and is renowned among heat lovers on family holidays for its elegance and social qualities.
Central to its beach culture are the many surfers who congregate every day here.
Every Sunday, the roadway closest to the beach is shut to cars and local residents and tourists take the chance to ride bikes, roller skate, skateboard, and walk along the shoreline.
The neighbourhood is also home to world-class restaurants, shops, and cafes.
