Charity searches for trekkers up for Nepal trip

22nd Jan 2013

Isabel Hospice is searching for trekkers who are ready to push their body to the limits for charity during a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Far East country of Nepal.

The organisation is planning a 16-day trip through the country that will take in some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, culminating at Everest Base camp.

It is hoped that the expedition, which will see those involved trekking for between five and eight hours a day, will raise thousands of pounds for Isabel Hospice.

The chartiy's corporate relationship manager Emma Lippiatt described how this is a fantastic opportunity for anyone ready to push themselves in aid of a good cause.

She stressed the amazing sights participants will see along the way, ranging from the villages and Buddhist monasteries of the Sherpa people to views of Everest and Ama Dablam, which are considered to be among the most picturesque mountains in Nepal.
