A contest showcasing a dance trend which has swept the globe is being held in Vietnam.
After the success of South Korean rapper Psy's hit Gangnam Style, so-called horse dancing has been copied by fans all over the world. Now the Korean Department of Tourism has decided to tap into Gangnam Style fever by introducing a competition in Vietnam.
The event will be held in Hanoi to commemorate two decades of diplomacy between Vietnam and South Korea.
All citizens of Vietnam can enter the contest, which will last almost four weeks, ending on October 27. And the best dancers will be named on November 3 and asked to display their talent with a show on November 4.
This performance in Hanoi's Keangnam Landmark Garden will form part of the Festival of Korean Food Culture.
The festival is part of a range of events being held before the end of the year to celebrate the anniversary of the start of formal diplomatic relations between the two nations in 1992. There will also be a Korean Film Festival and a number of musical productions.
