Carnival celebrations in Brazil are welcoming Psy, the rapper who shot to fame globally with Gangnam Style.
The South Korean star was set to perform alongside Brazilian vocalist Claudia Leitte on Friday in Salvador in north-eastern Brazil.
Two million revellers head to Salvador each year for its carnival, which has gained the reputation of being the largest street party on the planet. After entertaining the crowds there, Psy was set to head to the internationally renowned Rio Carnival to perform on Saturday.
And according to Channel 24 News, he will be back in South Korea to perform at the ceremony to inaugurate the first woman to become the nation's president on February 25.
He will sing for 60-year-old president-elect Park Geun-Hye, who is the daughter of Park Chung-Hee, who was a military leader in South Korea. The performance, before crowds of 60,000 at Seoul's National Assembly, will end a busy month for Psy.
The 35-year-old shot to fame with his horse-riding dance in his video for Gangnam Style, which had been watched more than a billion times on YouTube by December 2012.
His success has seen him given the Okgwan Order of Cultural Merit - the highest honour given in South Korea.
