People heading to Istanbul will soon be able to ease their passage through one of the city's most bustling areas with a new guide.
The portable and practical I-Street guide will offer a helping hand for those trying to navigate the bustling avenue of Istiklal Caddesi and the side streets running from it.
The guide will be available online from January and editor-in-chief Jessica Stockwell described it as "Sort of a personal boutique map and guide - printable and polite - for your visitors and guests".
Stockwell praised the existing Time Out Guide and the GUIDE Istanbul but outlined why she wanted to produce something a little bit different for the famous avenue.
She said: "I'm in the street and on public transportation all the time and find it difficult to find galleries and exhibits mentioned in the Beyoglu area. So I started doing my discovery walks daily in January and designed a map of Istiklal Caddesi from Taksim to Tunel to Galata Tower, and a second map for the neighbourhoods.
"There are great back streets off the 40 side streets for walking around and discovering urban life and a bustling population of shops."
