Holidays in Jordan are receiving a publicity boost with the Jordan Tourism Board exhibiting at the World Travel Market (WTM).
Jordan tourism chiefs have a few innovative ideas up their sleeve to help raise awareness to holidays in the country during WTM, such as a new list entitled 99 Things to do in Amman that is being promoted via branded products such as memory sticks, maps and T-shirts bearing the 99 Things logo.
Visitors to the stand can also witness a sandman creating customised sand bottles, while a skilled calligrapher will craft special Arabic designs and high-quality Dead Sea products are also being handed out.
The Jordan exhibit is also celebrating the 200th anniversary of the rediscovery of Petra which took place this year on August 22, with a big Treasury-shaped cake helping to mark the occasion.
"Presenting Jordan at WTM ensures awareness of the Jordan tourism product, as well as places Jordan firmly on the world tourism map," said the Jordan Tourism Board's managing director Dr Abed Al Razzaq Arabiyat.
WTM is one of the largest tourism trade shows in the world.
