Tourism officials for Kenya have urged newly-weds to look at the African country for their first holiday as a married couple.
The UK-based Kenya Tourist Board described the country as an "unforgettable" honeymoon destination, citing the many options for rest and relaxation or activity and adventure.
There are few places in the world where you can take in both a beach holiday and safari, and that is one of Kenya's big selling points, with wildlife-strewn plains and 300 miles of beaches available to visitors.
But the regional director of the Kenya Tourist Board for the UK and Ireland Angie Sloan says there's more than beaches and safaris and that visitors can choose to have hot-air balloon rides over plains, see the sunset over the Indian Ocean or take boat rides at Lake Nakuru.
She also pointed out the Watamu Marine Reserve for some sea-life spotting.
Indeed, Sloan says Kenya is one of the world's most romantic destinations, with accommodation available to suit a range of tastes and prices.
She added holidaymakers could choose between luxury lodges in national parks, high-end resorts on white-sand coastlines and boutique hotels in Nairobi.
