Tourists are flocking back to Egypt to experience the mysteries of the pyramids and the beauty of modern day Cairo first hand but the number could be set to rise even further with the launch of a new campaign in London.
The Egypt Tourism Authority has launched a year-long advertising campaign with Egypt Air, the national airline, which will be shown on taxis across central London.
The campaign, designed in conjunction with London Taxi Advertising, should help bolster Londoners' interest in holidays in the magical nation.
Egyptian tourism officials are hoping the taxis, which will be emblazoned with a promotional message, will also attract thousands of global travel trade professionals descending on London in November for the World Travel Market conference.
Paul Tremarco, sales director at London Taxi Advertising, said: "We are very happy to be working with the Egyptian Tourism Authority and Egypt Air to promote the country in the UK, the striking taxis look fantastic on the road and are sure to tempt any traveller to visit the beautiful destination."
