
American nu-metal band Korn has confirmed concerts in India will make up part of their Path Of Totality tour, according to reports.
The Bakersfield four-piece whipped up the Indian underground music scene when they announced dates in Bangalore, New Delhi and Mumbai last month.
Guitarist James 'Munky' Shaffer fuelled speculation a trip to India may have been have been on the cards in a recent interview.
"That's one of the places we've never been to", said Shaffer. "I know there are a lot of metalheads there and we get a lot of people on our website who say - 'come to India'."
Korn will open their tour with a high-decibel gig in Bangalore on 5 September, before playing in Mumbai two days later.
Delhi will host the final show of their whistle-stop tour on 9 September, with some 'highly exciting' support acts poised to get the Indian cities rocking.
Bobby Duggal, from Mooz Entertainment, the company that's bringing Korn to India, said: "It's going to be Boomarang for Delhi, Goddess Gagged for Mumbai and Galeej Gurus in Bangalore, who will be opening for Korn on the Path Of Totality tour."
