Namibia scores highly in the satisfaction stakes, according to a new holidaymakers' survey.
As many as 85% of 6,500 tourists surveyed rate the southern African country as "very enjoyable".
Wildlife remains its No.1 attraction, with Etosha National Park attracting a quarter of all tourists travelling there.
The main activities of holidaymakers, whether it be those on group tours or family holidays, include game viewing (34%), and nature and landscape touring (25%).
Other attractions number hiking and trekking (6%), adventure sports (5%), hunting (4%), shopping (4%), 4×4 trails (4%), and fishing (3%).
The most substantial age profile for all tourists visiting Namibia is 30 to 39 years.
But age groups change by continent of residence and purpose of visit.
Visitors from Europe are older (more than half - 52% - are 40-plus) than those from Africa (only 44% are over 40).
The survey was conducted between June 2012 and January 2013 at Hosea Kutako International Airport, Walvis Bay Airport, Buitepos, Wenela, Oshikango, Ariamsvlei and Noordoewer.
