British holidaymakers can now buy tickets to fly easyJet to Moscow from Manchester.
The budget airline's first ever scheduled service between the two cities launches on March 28 with four flights a week each way.
Prices start at £47.49 one way for the four-hour flights on board an Airbus A319, departing Manchester on Wednesday and Sunday mornings, and Monday and Thursday afternoons.
The Wednesday and Sunday flights depart from Moscow at 15:15 to arrive back at Manchester at 16:25, while the Monday and Thursday flights depart Moscow at 21:15 arriving at Manchester at 22:25.
EasyJet's UK director Paul Simmons said the new route has been welcomed by locals in the North West who want to avoid heading to London for connecting flights.
The service will make it that bit easier for travellers in the Manchester area to head to the cultural sites in Russia and beyond, with the world famous Moscow attractions of Red Square, theatres, the Kremlin and many museums and galleries just a direct flight away.
