New flight service launched to Lima

29th Jun 2012

A new plane service has begun from London in England to Lima in Peru by Air Europa and will cost, including taxes, from £563.36 return.

The service started on June 26 and connects passengers in under three-and-a-half hours from London Gatwick to South America, via Madrid. These services happen daily.

Air Europa is hoping to attract people to Lima, Peru's capital and largest city, for its summer festivals including Las Fiestas Patrias and Peru's National Independence Day, which will feature street parties and fireworks.

UK general manager at Air Europa Colin Stewart, said: "From three weekly departures in 2010, Lima has grown into a key route for us and I'm delighted we can now provide UK travellers with even greater choice and flexibility when flying to Peru."
