Katy Perry is taking the advice of another singing sensation, the late Frank Sinatra, who sang: "Come fly with me, let's float down to Peru."
Peru seems to be at the top of her list of travels, which her reportedly planning a three-month holiday.
The pop star's marriage to Russell Brand recently ended in divorce and after a promotional tour for her concert film Katy Perry: Part Of Me, she reportedly wants to fly far away from work.
Perry is apparently planning a travel itinerary worthy of her star status, kicking-off in South America.
"Katy's said she wants to jet off to a place where she's never been. She's planning a three-month vacation with her brother David and one of her best pals. They've provisionally booked a trip to South America, starting off in Peru and doing the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu - something Katy's always wanted to do," Heat magazine reported, quoting an unnamed source.
Perry might also want to consider exploring the Amazon rainforest, which covers 60% of the country, hiking the Colca Canyon, home of the rare Andean condor, and touring the floating islands of Lake Titicaca while she's in Peru.
