A five-day seafood festival is under way in Goa, delighting holidaymakers with a wealth of exotic cuisine.
Those on group tours checking out the festival near to Caranzalem beach will find more than 75 food stalls, with the event running alongside the Goa Carnival.
The seafood festival is proud to host three special stalls, including one from Jammu and Kashmir, another from Gujarat and a third from Arunachal Pradesh. In addition to the amazing array of food, the festival includes entertainment programmes from local musicians and singers.
A cooking contest was held on Sunday with celebrity chef Kunal Vijaykar naming the winning Chef de Goa after cooks battled it out in a number of heats in north and south Goa.
Meanwhile, the Goa Carnival in the capital of Panaji got under way on Friday.
Numerous floats signed up to take part in the carnival celebrations, with organisers predicting the final number would be around 100.
Decked out in colourful decorations, the floats are competing for a number of cash prizes, set to be announced on Tuesday as the carnival draws to a close
