A ten-day literature festival featuring readings, live performances and music is under way in India.
Spring Fever, organised by Penguin Books India, is the fourth annual version of the literary showcase and is taking place at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi from March 15-24.
There will be a series of activities, ranging from discussions, readings, conversations and musical performances.
Those who are travelling from far and wide to attend the festival will also be thrilled that they can enjoy it for free.
One of the main attractions during the event is set to be the open-air library, which includes a large range of Penguin India titles, ranging from popular titles published more than 10 years ago and those that are currently making waves.
The library has been specifically earmarked as somewhere people can go to avoid the bustling crowds and just relax with a good book for a while.
Hemali Sodhi, vice president of marketing for Penguin Books India, explained the past three Spring Fever events have proven to be extremely popular among all readers and book-lovers and this latest one is expected to go even further.
Sodhi added: "Spring Fever is Penguin's very own way of celebrating the power of stories, the joy of reading and the incredible world of words through the open-air library, readings, conversations, book launches, previews, and some fabulous music. If you love the world of books, Spring Fever is for you!"
