Tarantino and girlfriend make splash in Mexico

22nd Jan 2013

Quentin Tarantino jetted off to soak up the sun in Mexico over the weekend following his success at the Golden Globes.

The Hollywood director picked up the best screenplay award for his slavery-themed movie Django Unchained and decided to celebrate with his girlfriend Lianne Spiderbaby as they indulged in the delights of the Sea of Cortez.

They were spotted enjoying a day of sailing on the famous body of water, jumping and snorkelling in the sea.

Wearing a pair of blue swim shorts, featuring a red go-faster stripe, the hairy Pulp Fiction director held his nose as he splashed into the water, while horror writer Lianne sported a flattering red and white striped bikini.

The couple only went public with their relationship last month, choosing Mexico as one of their first official holidays together.

Lianne, who has the real surname of MacDougall, made a name for herself as a horror film journalist, writing for the likes of Fangoria.
