Turkish delight for bargain-hunting British tourists

22nd Jun 2012

Budget-conscious British holidaymakers can combine a taste of the exotic with sweeping sandy beaches this summer without flying halfway round the world by choosing Turkey as a destination.

With its choice of beaches, Turkey is perfect for family holidays and from under £250 per person a week or two there won't break the bank.

Turkey has always been known for its low prices but this year a favourable exchange rate will help UK tourists' cash go even further, whether they're spending in the bar or the bazaar.

With summer temperatures topping 30 degrees C Turkey is perfect for beach holidays with the more active able to try their hand at scuba-diving and other water sports.

But holidaymakers wanting a break from sunning themselves on the sands can enjoy a host of cultural delights including traditional belly dancing, ancient temples and colourful local markets with more bargains on offer.
