Virgin Australia has launched an iPhone app to provide easy access to the latest special fares the airline has on offer.
As well as providing happy-hour fares and flight specials for the airline's domestic and international flights, the Virgin Australia Flight Specials app enables users to input their own personal travel preferences and sign up for alerts to let them know when flight specials meet their needs.
And in a second initiative that could improve the experience for those flying Virgin, the airline has also introduced mobile boarding passes across all mainline ports for domestic travel.
Mark Hassell, Virgin Australia group executive of brand and customer experience, said: "Virgin Australia is investing in mobile technologies in order to provide a more seamless travel experience for guests, along with the ease and convenience of accessing our services from a mobile device."
