Amsterdam Day Trip from Brussels

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit bustling Amsterdam! Once you have crossed the border, you will admire pastoral polder landscapes and a multitude of windmills. Upon arrival in Amsterdam we visit a local crafts center where you see the production of traditional cheeses and clogs . Time for a short photo break near a traditional quaint Dutch windmill. We drive on to the heart of Amsterdam, passing the Dutch National Bank and the former Heineken brewery museum. This is an unforgettable way to discover the old city and it is undoubtedly the number one attraction of Holland’s capital. Next stop: we take you to Amsterdam’s most famous square called the “DAM”. The guide takes you on a brief guided walk to the Royal Palace and other highlights of the city. Then it is time for some free time. Stroll along the shopping streets, visit the flower market, walk on your own through the historical Red Light District. Just enjoy!

“
This day trip is a great way to get a taste of Amsterdam. There's short walking tour, which you're free to opt out of. You'll get the most out of this day trip if you do some prep ahead of time. In order to optimize your free time - we had about 4 hours - come with a map, read up on some good restaurants and ideas of things to see, and walk along the canals.”

“
It was a beautiful day when we travelled to Amsterdam from Bussels, month of August. Me and my friends enjoyed the views, places we've visited and the tour guide is full of informative details about the place. I would also recommend if you stay at Hilton Brussels hotel, it's the pick up point of guests.”

“
Again another amazing trip.
Our guide was called June, she was amazing, very knowledge again. My favourite part was stopping by the cheese factory which was fun. I love cheese so I enjoyed that alot. The drive to and from was really good, smooth like before the coaches are very comfortable.
I would recommend to tour to anyone, and the boat tour we enjoyed it so much. Nice to see Amsterdam from a different point of view as well as learn some more interesting facts about the city.”

“
Great way to gain knowledge of Amsterdam and it's impact on history. Never knew the vast knowledge they had with controlling the water with levies and dams and man made canals. Really liked the cheese tour -fun to see the process. Best part of it was the boat ride - highly recommend you take this. Knowledgeable tour guide and ensured all were together and didn't miss our bus after free time. Driver did an excellent job maneuvering in all of that traffic!”

Loved this day trip to Amsterdam. Great to visit a local cheese factory. We opted for the canal boat ride and learned more about the art and museums of the area and of course the canal and dam system. It's a full day as its about three hours to Amsterdam from Brussels.”

“
Certainly nothing close to enough time to experience Amsterdam but if you have 1 day to work with, this tour is definitely worth it.”

“
I loved this trip to Amsterdam from Brussels. Bruno was our guide and was superb -- he was incredbily knowledgeable and conscientous, even though he was tasked with navigating a huge swarm of tourists through the crowded streets and corridors. Amsterdam was lovely, though there wasn't enough time to really get a feel for the city.
The canal ride was fun though I'd pass it up next time, as I'd had preferred more time to explore on my own. This was an added treat and who cares if they get a group discount? We're on vacation. They're here to make money. They DO get us to the pier and we don't have to wait in line, so I see it as win / win.
Overall it was an excellent tour for those who want a taste of Amsterdam. My only real issue was with them dropping us off -- seemingly in the middle of nowhere -- although I'm sure it was close to the starting point. Most of us though are tourists i.e., 99 of us and had no idea how to get home. I ended up getting hopelessly lost and had to take a cab back to the point of origin. Other than that I loved this trip and would highly recommend it to others.”

“
I had been on the Amsterdam Tour of Brussels City Tour on 26th August 2017. It was a well organised Tour and we enjoyed this trip. Mr Neven, our Tour guide was simply amazing and magnificient, the best guide that I have come across to date.I would repeat this tour just to be with him for some time.
Though we had a small hiccup on the pick up from the hotel and missed our first booking, the Brussels City Tour people were very kind and rescheduled our trip. They are strongly recommended.”
