Stephon has been one of the most knowledgeable tour guides I have met. He certainly knows his history inside and out when it comes to these two cities, being born and raised in the area. Beautiful sight seeing and super comfortable bus (they call them coach) to travel in...

Wonderful experience. Our Guide was lovely, very informative and helpful. In my opinion Ghent deserves more time as so much history.

I usually have very good experiences with viator tours and my trip to Ghent and Bruges was not the exception, I really had an amazing day with our marvelous guide, she was kind, friendly, clear with all her explanations and she was with the group all the time, giving us helpful tips to enjoy as much as possible each place visited.

Our tour guide was wonderful. He was outgoing, personable, excited about what he was showing us and funny. The bus was nice, clean and comfortable. Loved the both cities and sights along the way.

This was a perfect way to spend the day in Belgium. The guide was amazing but felt a bit sorry for him as he had to translate into 3 languages. The first part of the tour to Ghent there a head set was not provided so it made it a bit difficult. In Bruges there was a head set which was great. If you go and they recommend Brasserie Vivaldi for lunch..don't eat there. Way over priced and not very good.

This tour is not for the faint of heart. It lasted 11 hours and involved a lot of walking on crowded narrow cobblestone streets. But the cities were beautiful and the guide Stephan was amazing. He is a fount of knowledge and has boundless energy.

Laura was a wonderful guide...wish there was wifi on bus and that Laura had a mike during our first half of the tour

Both places are exceptional and I am definitely coming back to spend more time to explore the beauty of Ghent and Brugge. What made is special was our guide Miriam who shared her knowledge so we can appreciate the the tour. She gave us tips on how we could spend our free time wisely. The restaurant Vivaldi served me exquisite shrimp scampi. The best so far. Miriam was so helpful and always patient and she was extremely accommodating. I would certainly recommend this tour to my friends. Thanks for my making my first visit to Belgium memorable.

Two wonderful cities and Jan was a brilliant guide. Nice touch to be taken to the plaque commemorating the sojourn of Charles ll in Bruge after the Civil War.

Ghent and Bruges are both picturesque cities in the Flemish region of Belgium. Both are rich in cultural attractions and well-preserved sites. The tour guide, Daniel, was excellent and very knowledgeable in the history of the places we visited. He made us feel the place in the most leisurely way, giving us time to take photos and to enjoy the local delicacies. Wonderful!

Most of the reviews for this tour are good because both Gent and Bruges are beautiful. It is true that you don't have much free time, but it is a full day of activity. If you want more free time don't try to visit two cities in one day. Some suggest that you just take a train and tour yourself. This might work for you if you just want to look at beautiful building and you aren't interested what they are or why they are important. I wish I remembered our guide's name. She was great! She was very knowledgeable and she had a nice personality. Instead of relaxing on the bus ride back to Brussels, she took the time to talk to each person on the tour to see if they had any questions or comments.

Thanks Miguel! Gracias :) Nice and informative tour. A bit fast, but we knew this when we booked the trip.

This tour is a definite must! Be prepared to walk and don't forget your sunblock if it is a sunny day. Our tour guide, Stefan, made the day trip more enjoyable - he guided us through the interesting history of Ghent and Bruges with some jokes along the way! You will surely have some photos to cherish after this amazing tour. Would definitely recommended, especially for couples.

Our tour guide, Stefan, was very good. A nice sense of humor and very knowledgeable about the cities history. Both are lovely cities to visit. In Ghent we went into St. Bavo's cathedral and saw the The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb. St. Bavo's is worth the trip to Ghent. In Bruges we ate lunch at the restaurant Stefan recommended and the staff was ready for us and got us in and out right away. The food was delicious. You could go anywhere to eat and there are some take away places if you wanted something cheaper. Bruges is a beautiful Medieval city. Stefan was insightful about the buildings and history of Bruges. You finish with a boat ride through the canal's which is narrated. We did have a bit more time in Bruges and were able to enjoy a glass of wine during free time. This tour is excellent.

The tour to Ghent and Bruges started off in wet, cold weather and having to change coaches in the rain did not make anyone smile. There is a bit of a walk to the coach departure, therefore take dress appropriately. However, once on board, the tour guide Miquel made up for a slow start. He was a fantastic guide, informative, and gave our tour in English and Spanish. The Bruges section of the tour supplied headphones and that was much better to listen in a large crowd. There was a chance to add a half hour boat trip to the trip, for €10pp, and we were really glad that we did it - I wondered if it would be a rip off but it was lovely to see the building from the canals. Again the boat trip is open air so come prepared (we didn't !!) - Thank you Miguel for a wonderful day

Great trip if you want to visit both cities and don't have time to do it on your own. Of course it's physically tiring, but it's totally worth the effort!
• Submitted 06 Sep 2019
Loved the tour - I felt that there was enough time for both Ghent and Brussels and the tour was seamless and well organized. Both places are really beautiful and a must-see if you're stopping around the area. Thanks Albert!

We had a wonderful tour of these two beautiful cities! Ghent waswe had a nice walking tour around the city. Bruges was absolutely amazing. Enjoyed waffles, of course and the best chocolates in the world. Our tour guide, Andrea was excellent. She showed us everything around at a steady pace. And we enjoyed a canal cruise at the end, it was optional and at an additional charge but absolutely loved it. I would definitely recommend this trip and hope to get Andrea as well!

Fantastic tour guide. So much to see and do. The convenience of this guided trip makes it doable. A long day so rest up before this memorable journey.

Our guide Andrea was excellent! Very knowledgeable, helpful and dealt with the group's needs throughout the tour. Ghent and Bruges are beautiful and interesting. We will definitely return to explore at some point but this day trip was perfect for the time we had. We got to do a boat trip in Bruges and for €10 it was well worth it as we got to skip the queue and was the best way to see the city. The coach was comfortable, air conditioned and had a toilet. We could not have asked for more! We'd thoroughly recommend this tour and thank you Andrea for making it so enjoyable!

Really, tour guide Miguel made this attraction extra special. He explains matters that you need to know clearly and courteously. He is kind to all in the tour group, and just generally to all people. He knows the points of interest very well, and conveys it to the group efficiently.
