This tour is one of our bestsellers! Luxemburg is certainly a modern and vibrant city with a rich history and impressive modern and ancient architecture. To our own surprise our guests seem to value very much the little town of Dinant which they proclaim to be very “typical Belgian, surprisingly picturesque and unbelievably interesting”. It is indeed the town of Adolphe Sax, the inventor of the saxophone and the cradle of the Leffe beer.

loved this trip. Dinant was beautiful even though we didn't spend enough time there. Luxembourg is great and the driver and tour guide were well informed and nice

This was a wonderful trip. Our guide Jan was a font of knowledge and kept us all informed and entertained. The drive along the River Meuse was spectacular and Dinant was a gem to visit. Luxembourg City has so much to offer and we are so glad we made the time to visit.

Fabulous Day Trip where you saw two cities and learned history. We had an excellent guide (Pierre) who went over and above the call of duty.

I really enjoyed this tour! Dinant is a picturesque little town on the river, and we had plenty of time there to take photos, visit the church and grab something to eat. There was a quick stop at a castle and then we headed to Luxembourg. Upon arrival in Luxembourg we were lead to an area of shops and restaurants so people could grab lunch; an optional walking tour was scheduled for after lunch. If you decide to skip the walking tour and only stay in this part of town, you'll probably find it boring. The walking tour provided interesting info and went through some quaint and beautiful historical parts of Luxembourg.

We were lucky that everyone on the bus agreed to one language (which was Spanish) and it was perfect. Luxembourg is not even the highlight of the trip, Dinant was. I recommend this trip. It’s a long one but our tour guide make it work. We were even given some free time on your own to explore. It was about an hour but enough. I’m so glad I took his trip. Got to go to two countries in one day. The bus was comfortable with air conditioning.

First stop in Dinant reveals the beauty of History , visit the church appearing in the profile (historical) , continue the guided walk exploring attractions and watching the official guards walking guarding the palace , then heading to Luxembourg where the past meets the modern life and lovely nature surrounding central bus stop . We walked a lot with our guide even old ladies and men did ,it was lovely but I recommend travelers to have a level of fitness to walk a lot specially elevated street walk because an elevator was out of order and we have to go up all the way , but we helped some couples as they are old also our guide did . Luxembourg probably is a center of business its very obvious moreover for us was another city to explore , it was great

While in Brussels, one should not miss the chance to see Luxembourg. Fortunately for travellers a day tour from Brussels going to Luxembourg is available with an added bonus. Travellers who would book this tour would also get to see the beautiful quaint city of Dinant. My wife and I booked this tour via Brussels City Tour. Our tour guide, Veronica, and our bus driver, Patrick did not disappoint us and gave us a wonderful day in both Luxembourg and Dinant. They even went out of their way when they brought us to the Veves Castle which is located in a town near Dinant. This castle is widely known to be the inspiration for Walt Disney's Cinderella Castle. If you do take this tour make sure that you have your camera(s) ready because you'll be taking a lot of pictures for sure. The places that you would see (Luxembourg City, Dinant, and the Veves Castle) are all picturesque.

Coach left on time from the pick up point and the tour guide was telling us the history of certain buildings when driving through Brussels first. Got to Luxumbourg when we walked around the city as a group first, being shown all the wonderful architecture and the history behind it then we had 2/3 hours of being on our own to see/do what we wanted. After the visit, we then went to the little less known town of Dinant back in Belgium. We again, had a tour around the small town first then we went off and did our own thing. Arrived back in Brussels around 8pm after feeling positive about the day we'd just had, plus we got to tick off another country on the list.

Three languages meant a bit of delay at each stop, but the guide (Johann?) did an excellent job with that.

We enjoyed the trip very much. Beautiful place and the tour guy was really knowledgeable and did an awesome job. Free time was great. Wish the tour walk was at s bit slower pace. He just wanted us to see a lot. 👍👍

I decided to join this day trip to Luxembourg and Dinant from Brussels because it seemed to be easier than trying to organize things on my own and it would help me add another country to my travel list, I am so glad I did!! Luxembourg was a bit of drive from Brussels, but the bus was comfortable and there were some stories / a stop to Dinant on the way. Once in Luxembourg we had about an hour or so for lunch and then we were given a comprehensive and beautiful walking tour through the city. Definitely felt like I had enough time to explore a bit on my own, and the country (or city of Luxembourg) was absolutely beautiful. I definitely recommend this day trip :)

An enjoyable trip and worth a visit. The bus trip is quite long but we were aware of that and made the most of seeing the countryside on the way past.

Had a very enjoyable day trip to Luxembourg and Dinant. The visit to Dinant is worth it by itself. Bruno is a very dynamic guide who also gave us a crash course in Trappist beers.

The beauty of Luxembourg and Dinant, Belgium are hard to beat. Nice tour and guide. I perhaps wish we had more time in Dinant and we were later after most restaurants and bakeries are closed, but still had fun.

We had so much fun! There was a bit of trouble getting going as there was something wrong with our coach so we departed a little bit later however it was handed as best as it could have been. Our guide was called Paul, he was amazing, very knowledge and made an effort to go around everyone and talking to them was very interactive. On the way back we stopped in Dinant, Belgium, such a small/cute town would have loved to stayed longer to explore more. I would recommend to tour to anyone, we enjoyed it so much. Even the coach journey it was nice to see the landscape driving past and it was a smooth journey, comfortable enough to sleep as well. :

Highly recommend the day trip to Luxembourg with a stop in Dinant, Belgium. An excellent and easy way to explore nearby Luxembourg out of Belgium. Was surprised by the beauty of Dinant and could have stayed there longer. I would recommend to anyone visiting the Brussels area.

I travel with my family (three kids) and everything was very well organized. I had with me, a baggie for my little child and it was not a problem at all.
• Submitted 18 Jul 2018
A fantastic tour if you want to see a lot in a day but its a long day and you will be going all the day. Paul was a great tour guide and happy to answer questions and point things out. Great just wandering around Luxembourg and Dinant.
