Had à Great tour with our private guide. It Washington however very tiring and we decided against the sunset part as it involved à further climb. The tour was amazing and our guide gave us alot of information.

Thank you for our tour guide. I have traveled to several countries and been on many tours, many through Viator, and I can honestly say that our tour guide was the best I have had. He was so friendly, very patient with us (my mother is in her late 60s and we went during the dry season so the heat was oppressive at times), he took photographs that look like a professional took them, and he was such a pleasure to have on the tour. The tour would have not been the same without him. The tour itself was obviously stunning with the sights and I would highly recommend the tour to anyone. I am mainly writting this review so Viator is aware that this particular tour guide should be booked often. Thank you for a memorable experience.

Having a private tour gave my son and I the flexibility to see what we were most interested in seeing. It was really hot and humid, so we opted to skip staying until sunset. Loved our guide and driver!

This was an amazing tour! Our guide Sam was so knowledgable and spoke very good English so we could really converse. The van was big and comfortable. Our driver Sol was great and always there to pick up us promptly. I have walking issues and Sam was so patient and always helping me on the stairs and finding me shade as it was very hot! They supplied cold water whenever we got in the car and the air conditioning was a life saver! I highly recommend this tour. You see and learn so much about the temples, I was too tired and opted out of the sunset on the peak but had fantastic day and will never forget this amazing experience!

Our tour guide was Mr Se Vannsak and he was the best tour guide we've had in the 7 tours we booked on our SE Asian vacation. He was incredibly knowledgeable on Angkor and the entire Cambodian history from that period to the present. What makes him exceptional is his ability to tell the history of Angkor in more of a story telling way instead of just a rehearsed set of facts from a brochure like other guides. His English was also very good and we had no problems understanding him at all. Recommendation: While going over the day's itinerary at the beginning of the tour, make sure you will be getting the sunset viewing. Our tour ended before sunset but I was ok with that since it had already been a long and hot day with my elderly parents and very young kids. Also, the tour is very common there are two circuits for the main Angkor site and provided by a whole lot of tour companies so you will find many cheaper options with the exact same itinerary in Siem Reap. But ultimately I felt ok with paying more since I found out more about how Viator screens out bad tour companies through its reviews, so you have a much higher chance with Viator of getting an excellent tour guide as opposed to mediocre one.

Having a private guide to show me around the Angkor complex on my one full day in Siem Reap was awesome, and totally the best way to go for me. The complex is large and the distances between the temples are not quickly walkable, so it was perfect to have someone to drive me to the different locations and explain everything I was looking at. My guide was Som I'm probably misspelling that, sorry - maybe it's Sahm? and our driver was Mr. Le. They were both so friendly and kind. Som was very knowledgeable about the history of Cambodia and of the Angkor temples, and he was able to explain everything very well, and answer any question I had. Som coordinated all day with Mr. Le so that we entered each temple on one side, and Mr. Le was waiting with the car on another side. Mr. Le always had the cool air conditioning running in the car, and a new bottle of cold water. Midway through the day, they took me to a cute local restaurant for a Khmer lunch I think it was called Khmer Wooden House. Note the lunch is included with the tour, but you're responsible for your own drink. They had their own lunch elsewhere, so I met up with them when I was done and we continued sightseeing. Som and I walked a lot and he showed me everything I wanted to see, but since it was just me and not a slower group of people, we were able to see everything rather quickly. We still had time before the sunset, so they took me into a nearby village to show me how local silk scarves are made by hand, and how local silver is engraved. It was a nice detour, and I appreciated the thought and creative solution to fill time. We went back to the Angkor complex and Som walked me to the top of the hill to watch the sunset. He went back down the hill and was there waiting for me to take me back to my hotel afterward. Overall, this was an excellent tour and I highly recommend booking through this company.

I was with my mother and aunt, who are both in their 80s the guide Savoun and driver Hong were very patient and helped my mum a lot especially in climbing up and down the steps and walkways! We managed to visit Bayon, Ta Prohm Tomb Raider and of course, Angkor Wat. At Ta Prohm, because there was already a huge crowd at the entrance, the guide actually took us on a reverse route so that we don't have to jostle with the crowds! Because there's a long distance to walk in order to reach the gardens surrounding Angkor Wat, the guide spoke to the gatekeepers so that we could drive right though almost to the steps leading up to Angkor Wat. Kudos to the guide and driver!

We've always dreamed of seeing Angkor Wat and this tour proved are dreams were well-founded! Nino, our very professional guide, was full of fascinating information and personal anecdotes that added life to this incredible experience. I must add that when my 77 year old brother felt some discomfort and fatigue, Nino personally helped him walk and climb the stairs and we are very grateful for that personal touch. I cannot say enough about the temple complex other than - I MUST AND WILL BE BACK!

Fantastic! Amazing! Samnang was the most incredible guide. He had so many special tricks for best approaches, photo ops, stories about each location. It was like touring with a friend. Ask for him every time and you'll always get the best. This tour made my whole trip special.

This was a wonderful, well-organized tour. The guide and driver showed up on time and were very friendly and courteous throughout the day. It is a full day of walking in the heat, so be prepared. The guide provided free water and paid for a delicious lunch at a local cafe. The best part was that the guide and driver were more than willing to rearrange some of the day's activities to meet my needs we did an extra temple on the way to lunch, and did the mountain climb in the afternoon rather than at sunset. Overall, it was a great experience.

Great tour to see Angkor Wat and other temples. Our tourist guide was very kind and he even suggested great spots to take pictures.

this tour is perfect for getting to know the Angkor Wat in one day and will be sufficient to cover the famous temples, Angkor Wat, Ta Prohmtomb raider, Bayon. our ride was airconditioned, we had bottled water, moistened towelettes, lunch provided during our trip. because of the heat our guide made sure that we were picked up nearby and that we did not have to work so far although there will be alot of walking involved. this is perfect though if you want to be met as soon as you come out of the temples and wish to experience the coolness of the airconditioning of your transportation. our guide also knew shortcuts to bypass swarms of tourists and knows the best angle/areas to take the best photo. Samour guide was knowledgeable and he interpreted the stories on the walls as much as he could so that clueless tourist like us could understand the stories behind the bas reliefs on the walls. it is recommended that you take on a guide and this tour is highly recommended because you won't feel clueless plus it saves you the energy from walking around with any guide. fyi, after lunch you get dropped off at your hotel for about 2-3 hours to relax and freshen up before you get picked up for your sunset view from the temple.

We had a great day touring the temples. Our guide was very friendly and knew a lot, he was able to customise our tour when we decided not to do the sunset.

Amazing tour! My guide was very knowledgeable, polite and fun to be around, I learnt a lot about the temples and Cambodia in general. Despite the 38 degrees and full on humidity I enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you!

This was by far, one of the best tours I have ever been on in large part due to our amazing tour guide Vong. I was feeling slightly ill that day because of lack of sleep. Not only did Vong provide us with as many water bottles as we wished but he also provided tiger balm in order to relieve my dizziness, which definitely helped! The tour went as follows: Bayon Temple in Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm aka the Tomb Raider temple, lunch at an amazing traditional Khmer restaurant with 3 course meal, and of course finishing with Angkor Wat, where we got to climb to the top. We were treated to many interesting historical facts about the architecture, war, religion, and art along the way. As the weather was not conducive to a sunset, we were brought to a traditional Khmer massage place instead, which was the perfect end to a long day. We were even dropped directly to the airport after the tour so we could avoid late check-out at the hotel and make our flight on time. Vong is not only a good tour guide but also a thoughtful individual who made a great experience even better. Highly recommend!
