Day 1: Phnom Penh

Welcome to the Kingdom of Wonder! Upon arrival, you will meet our tour guide and driver transfer to check in hotel store luggage. Today visitors find a bustling, multicultural city at the confluence of the historic Mekong, Tonle Sap and Bassac Rivers. Phnom Penh has many places of exceptional interest for those with time enough to appreciate the city's attractions. Overnight Phnom Penh. We will start to visit the Royal Palace, the incredible solid silver-floored Silver Pagoda and the National Museum, a treasure chest of Angkorian and pre-Angkorian artifacts. We end our city tour with visit to Wat Phnom pagoda before shopping at the Russian market.

Day 2: Phnom Penh

Enjoy a full day touring of Phnom Penh. You will visit the Royal Palace, with its incredible solid silver-floored Silver Pagoda, which has thousands of silver tiles on the floor. Continue to Raung Damrei Museum. The National Museum is a treasure chest of Angkorian and pre-Angkorian artifacts. Then proceed to Wat Phnom pagoda a 15th century stupa. This afternoon, continue to Choeung Ek - Killing Field: has now become the peaceful stretch of countryside where over 10,000 people were executed. The remains of some of them are stored in a memorial to remind people of the atrocities the Khmer Rouge inflicted on other Khmers. Then take a 1 hour Mekong boat cruise for viewing sunset. Day 3: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap

Leaving Phnom Penh you will travel to Siem Reap. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, enjoy lunch at local restaurant. This Afternoon, visit the famous Angkor Wat, built for king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. The largest and best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious centre—first Hindu, then Buddhist—since its foundation. Enjoy the superb view of sunset from Phnom Bakheng hill. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 4: Siem Reap

We continue our chronological visit to the temple complexes this morning with “Angkor Civilisation under threat”. Following a stop at the visitors centre to learn of the recent reconstruction and preservation projects, our sightseeing takes in one of the regions most fascinating ruins – Ta Prohm. This is a ruin that was once totally enshrouded by jungle, and still stands in the shade of tall jungle cover. After Ta Prohm we explore Banteay Kdei and the neighbouring lake of Sras Srang. Following lunch, we take Angkor Thom from the northern gate to visit Bayon and the Terrace of the Elephants. A number of other sites will also be visited in Angkor Thom from earlier periods. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 5: Siem Reap

Returning back to Angkor you will visit Banteay Srey, one of the most unusual temples of the area. It is built largely of red sandstone, which is covered with elaborate and deeply carved decoration. Banteay Samre is a bit off the Grand Circuit, near the southeast corner of the East Baray. The trip there is a nice little 3km road excursion through villages and paddies. After lunch visit the Floating Village at Tonle Sap Lake where people have houses built in the river. Returning to town take time to visit Les Chan tiers Ecoles Artisans D' Angkor a workshop that teaches the unique craft of wood and stone carving in the traditional and style of classic Cambodian artistry. Overnight Siem Reap.

Day 6: Siem Reap - Khong Island

A morning at leisure until you are transferred to the airport for flight to Pakse. On arrival, you will be met and transferred directly onto Champasak. After continue to Wat Phou, a World Heritage Site in Laos. Vat Phou is the site of ruins which were once part of a temple built some time before Angkor Wat. It contains some of the most ancient Khmer architectures. An afternoon drive to Don Khone, an area of 4000 islands which is the widest point of the Mekong River during the rainy season, during the dry months the river recedes, leaving behind thousands of islands. En route, stop at the ruins of the Khmer temple of Oup Mong at Ban Houei Tomo and continue to Don Khone Island. Overnight Don Khone Island.

Day 7: Khong Island - Pakse

After an early morning breakfast, begin re-tracing the French colonial-past at Ban Khone, where some old colonial houses still stand. Continue your exploration of the area of the 4000 islands leisurely by boat and visit the most beautiful Liphi waterfall, also known as the Samphamith, which forms a natural border between Lao and Cambodia. If we have luck, we may catch a glimpse of the rare freshwater Irrawaddy Mekong dolphin at Ban Hang Khone. Return to Ban Nakasang and drive to the famous waterfall of Khone Phapeng - the largest waterfall in South East Asia, also known as the 'Niagara of the east'. We reach Pakse before sunset. Overnight in Pakse

After breakfast enjoy what remains of your time in Paske free until you are transferred to the airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
