We had a fabulous day. Weather was great, fall colors were beautiful, and an amazing guide! All the stops were great and delicious.”

“
Celine was an amazing host during the entire trip! The local producers were great and varied. My only feedback would be that the chocolate stop seemed a little lacking compared to the other producers offering (one small chocolate per person). Aside from that, we thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience and would gladly recommend it to our friends!”

“
I tried the best hot chocolate ever! I will not able to drink regular hot chocolate anymore... I went to 2pm tour and it was more like 'dessert and drink tour ' than 'food and drink tour'. So I recommend you to eat at least light lunch before the tour. But all the places were great. The locals looked all happy and nice! :) Jeff, our tour guide, was amazing too. It was small group but everyone was smiling and laughing all the time. It was fun experience.”

“
My daughter and I really enjoyed this tour. We were pleasantly surprised by all the locations and samples. This was the most relaxing tour we took while in Quebec City and the scenery on the island is absolutely beautiful. The Cider place was our favorite.”

“
Celine was a wonderful guide and driver! We had a very small group aboard our bus so everyone felt as if they got individual attention. The spots we visited on the island were very nice. Tried some wonderful chocolate, ice cream, wines, preserves, and nougat. Celine even took a little detour and we spent a few moments at Montmorency Falls where she took photos of our group and individually! She was excellent! The tastings we had were delicious!”

“
Wonderful 3 1/2 hour tour thru rural Island of Orleans, stopping at five local businesses that produce wines, jams and jellies, ciders and related products, chocolates, and nougat candies. Tour director Simon was friendly and knowledgeable and made the afternoon all the more pleasant. Would definitely recommend as an outing out of the city.”

“
I love this trip as I got to taste Ice Cider, Ice Wine and Wine made of Black Currant. We also stopped at the Nougat
and Chocolate store. The Nougat stop basically not much to say. The child who does not speak english just told us that if we want to taste some nougat, she will give us to taste. But no history or background. Same with the chocolate store. The tour guide did gave us some short background. The wine tasting are the best part. Highly recommend.”

“
Peter, our tour guide/driver made what started as a rainy, windswept and bleak-looking day into a fun adventure. His knowledge about the locales we visited and the history of the region, along with a wonderful sense of humour, brightened the day. The stops we made were all very interesting and the merchant/hosts were welcoming and gave wonderful presentation about their products, the way they made them, and the history of their establishments. Because this was Quebec, the history is fascinating. Our tour included stops at a winery, a cider mill, a farm that grows black currents and makes a wide range of edible products with them, and a nougat candy factory. We were supposed to visit a Chocolaterie, but the windstorm had knocked their hydro out. Peter compensated for this by driving us through one of the Isle d'orleans' amazing 19th century neighbourhoods and giving us a captivating narrative about the people who lived there at that time. HIs knowledge of local history was most impressive!
We enjoyed our dip into French Canadian culture, and also the company of our fellow travellers. An excellent tour, more than worth the very reasonable price we paid.”
