A great trip from beginning to end. It started with a shuttle pick up by a quirky yet hilarious driver. The fishing village from where you depart is the real life town of Storybrooke....or at least where Once Upon A Time was filmed. The crew was that took us out were friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to see plenty of humpbacks, seals and bald eagles. I was slightly disappointed that I wasn't able to see orcas but it was of no fault of the company. They just weren't around! This is a definite must do.

I would definitely recommend this highly professional whale watching company. My wife and I total enjoyed the whole experience. We saw both humpback and Killer whales.

We really enjoyed this excursion. We opted for the shuttle pick up and the communication regarding a change in pick up point was excellent. We arrived and were given windbreaker jackets which were definately needed, as it was cold at points. The boat was big but even though it was full to capacity there was so much room to move around, there was no pushing or shoving and everyone could see everything. There was also a top deck that could accommodate 12 people at any one time for that better view. Joan is really knowledgeable and told us loads of really interesting info about the animals. We saw 2 pairs of humpbacks, 2 types of seals and some bald eagles. A trip well worth doing. It was myself and my 8year old. He did at times get bored so would recommend bringing something for them to do to keep them occupied.

Well worth the trip time to see the killer whales out near Victoria Island, along with other interesting animals along the way. We also saw several seals (keeping a safe distance from the orcas), a bald eagle perched on its nest, and, to the surprise of our guide, a California see lion. At one point one of the orcas surfaced quite near our boat to take a few breaths - really impressive animals, right up there at the top of the food chain. Our guide, Andy, was extremely knowledgeable on the biology of the animals, and she gave us a very useful commentary on the life cycle and personalities of each orca, as well as the work that is underway to protect the environment for these creatures. It is a fairly lengthy boat trip, about an hour each way, and it can get windy and chilly out there on the water. They provide big yellow jackets which you will need, but it's a good idea to take an extra sweater.

Shuttle was on time. Bus driver was very entertaining on the way to Richmond and back. The boats are well maintained. You will be handed jackets to keep you warm and dry. And yes, we did find the whales! On that trip we found bold eagles, killer whales, seals and others. The guide was exceptional, very knowledgeable and entertaining. Snacks were provided on board as well. I highly recommend this experience.

Excellent tour! Smooth boat ride! Knowledgeable naturalist! Loved the map she created to sum up our trip. It included where we saw the humpback and killer whales. I highly recommend this tour!

We went as a group of 5 but I booked separately, so they moved us all onto one boat to go together with absolutely no faff. Our guide Andy was exceptionally kind and knowledgable, our boat wasn't crowded at all and we were kept completely up to date with everything we could possibly see! We saw a pod of 9 orcas and Andy could tell us exactly which were which and how they were related. I have recommended this tour to all my friends- and hopefully I'll be back in a few weeks to do it again!

Enjoyed cruising along watching Killer Whale family. Environmentalist was very knowledgeable and kept us informed during the whole trip. Glad we were able to have this experience.

We had an amazing time. We took the 9am boat. The shuttle driver was prompt and informative. When you arrive at the office, you'll be given rain gear. Even though it was going to be near 80 for the day, we needed these were glad we wore them. It's cold on the water when you drive around for a while looking for wildlife. The boats communicate with one another, so one there was a humpback sighting, we headed for that. I would guess that for the later boats, you'd get to see whales sooner. We ended up being gone right at 5 hours. Bring your own snacks, especially if you're traveling with kiddos and grandparents and a husband who gets hangry. LOL There's a great deli at the docks that we got sandwiches from. James was our captain and Ellen was our naturalist. Both were fantastic! I highly recommend this tour and would do it again if we visit Vancouver.

This was an absolute highlight of our time in Vancouver. The pick up was perfect with the driver telling us little bits of information as we drove round to the different hotels. The wildlife was spot on although this out of the control of the tour company so think we were lucky but seeing past the company was professional and did their best to keep you updated as to what was going on with what you were seeing and also give you some history and context to the area. Overall would recommend this.

it was very enjoyable, water was not rough at all and we saw 5 humpback whales very close to the boat, there were 4 adults and a calf. It was not that cold if dressed warmly. The shuttle from the city was very comfortable and timely. There are several pickup sites so it is easy to walk to one. If you need warm clothes you can borrow them from the company before boarding.
