What a life changing experience that everyone has to see. Luci provided such a wonderful day for us that wouldnt have been possible on our own. Her and her professional driver picked us up and as we drove to the great wall, Luci provided us with some very interesting history and information. Once we arrived at the great wall she made for a worry free and great time. She did everything so we could enjoy the sights while also giving us info to have it come to life. we took a ski lift up and toboggan down which were amazing. the great wall brought to life by luci is everything and more that it is carved out to be. After the great wall she took us to a local country restaurant where we had fresh authentic fish and an amazing meal before we headed to the ming tombs. The ming tombs were great and we couldnt ask for more from this tour and Luci. Would recommend both 100 !!

This was a fantastic tour. If you are heading to Beijing don't hesitate in booking it in. You are picked up from the hotel, free water in the car, our driver was fantastic and got us around without issue. The wall is truly amazing, our guide, Albert, took us along a part of the wall talking about its history, then he took lots of amazing photos of us on the wall before giving us some time to explore on our own. After the great wall they took us for lunch and it is honestly one of the best meals I've ever had, Albert ordered for us, four delicious Chinese dishes, along with rice and tea. Then onto the Ming tombs where Albert talked us through the history of he Ming tombs and some Chinese customs when visiting tombs. Just a quick word about our guide Albert he was fantastic, no tour with him will be dull, great grasp of english and he goes out of his way to be accommodating. He was knowledgeable about the places we went and a joy to talk to. If you manage to get him as a tour guide you are in great hands.

My boys and I loved our day with Coco and thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was great having a guide who knew how to skip some of the busy parts to get us to quiet places where we could really enjoy our experience. We knew we'd love the wall but the Mind Tombs were just as fascinating and Coco's knowledge was just amazing. Coco shared her knowledge with us and drew us in on the history and fascination of the place. We would highly recommend this tour.

This was an excellent tour. Roy is an exceptional guide - he is very knowledable about and proud of Chinese history and communicates fluently in English in a way that is both highly informative and really interesting. We also had a really fine driver to take us to the sites. The tour includes a tobaggan ride down from the Great Wall. I'm 59 years old, and despite some initial reluctance with the tobaggan concept , I found the ride to be really fun and not at all scary. The lunch stop was excellent - it was great Chinese food.

Although there was slightly adjustment with our schedule, Albert managed to guide an amazing experience of Great Wall. The cable car and toboggan ride were a bonus! Definitely recommended.

This was a wonderful adventure. Got to see the countryside as well as walk on the great wall. Took the chairlift up and toboggan down which was exciting and fun. Had a lovely lunch at a local farmers restaurant on the way to the Ming Tours. Our guide and driver were both excellent.

Our guide Alice led a pleasant and informative outing to the Great Wall at Mutianyu and the Ming tombs. My wife and I booked a private tour, but on the day my wife was ill so it was just me. Alice met me at our hotel on time and we headed to the Great Wall. Alice's English was good. She told me about the sites we visited and some of their history, and answered my questions. At Mutianyu, we rode a chair lift up to the wall, I walked along it for a mile or so and then back. Standing on the wall, I could imagine the life of the soldiers watching for invaders from the north. We rode the 'toboggan' slide down, which was good fun. Next we drove through the mountains to a rustic restaurant for lunch. They scooped a live fish out of their pond, grilled and served it to us minutes later. It was delicious! Then we drove to the Ming tombs. They're huge! Each tomb had its own park and hilltop taken together they occupy an entire county. We visited one tomb which has been excavated and restored, and the sacred walk which is flanked by pairs of animal and human statues. Alice handled our tickets and admission smoothly. We traveled in a comfortable, air conditioned sedan. The driver drove safely, dropped us off close to our destinations and picked us up promptly. I recommend this tour, the tour operator and Alice.

As we were the only folks signed up for a Wednesday tour, we got a private tour. It was great!!! Bella, our guide, showed up with a car and a driver at our hotel and whisked us off to the Mutianyu section of the great wall. Very modern and clean facility, the cable car area for the ride up the mountain looked like a small ski resort area. At he top of mountain, we saw the Great Wall snaking on the top of the ridge, it was fantastic! They then took us to a great local restaurant between the Great Wall and Ming's Tombs for lunch. Likewise, the Ming Tombs were very well kept and clean. Our guide, Bella, spoke English very well and was well informed on history and architecture. We had a fantastic day.

We were on a 1 day tour with Discover Beijing Tours guided by Sherry Li. She was friendly and polite. Explained the history and culture of China to us so the entire tour was interesting. The ride in the car was comfortable and lunch was good. We had an enjoyable day. Thanks.
