We had a full day tour with Apple and it could not have been better! Apple was so knowledge and so kind. We were able to see so much of Shanghai in a short amount of time, book this tour today! I would also recommend getting the private car, definitely worth it.

We had a business group of 12, Our guide did an excellent job. Flexible and willing to adjust to our group, we saw Shanghai! We covered, the Bund, a temple, a very local restaurant, high view of the city, the Peace Hotel, the cricket/fish market, the umbrella/peoples park and I'm sure several other things. Our group spent the evening in the hotel lobby bar talking about what a great guide Kim was and all the things we saw.

Celine was an incredible guide, very knowledgeable and provided us with a great deal of information and history. Incredibly flexible and willing to tailor the day to us given we had already seen some of the sites she had initially planned.
• Submitted 09 Apr 2018
Celine was a great tour guide. We had a great driver too. They took us to five different places and to a restaurant where the locals go. Just be aware that you will need additional Chinese currency which is something we didn't think about since the tour was prepaid.

It was an exciting experience. We were so delivhted to have Peggy as our tour guide. We were travelling with our two young children and she was very flexible with the itinerary. We visited all the places of importance as listed. The lunch was great and we enjoyed the experience thoroughly. TY Peggy!

Peggy was a great and very knowledgeable guide during our full-day tour in Shanghai. She picked us up at the hotel, we discussed the intinerary for the day and how to get fom A to B to C taxi, public transport, walk. We visited Shanghai Old Street, Yuyuan, the Bund and the beautiful HSBC building there, had lunch in a local restaurant near People's Square, visited the Confucian temple and, at the end of this beautiful sunny day, we even watched the sunset from the viewing plattform of the Bottle Opener. We were in Shanghai during the Chinese New Year, so we knew it might be a bit complictaed to find a guide or even open attractions. We felt very lucky to have Peggy guide us and even letting us know what options might be available i.e. open during the following days. We would highly recommend this tour and felt it was a perfect start for our stay in Shanghai.

This tour provides great insight into the Shanghai skyline and important locations on their busy streets. We had fun interacting with the residents as we walked along the streets and visited one of the tallest buildings in the City. Our guide was excellent and I recommend having a guide here!

Celine was such a great tour guide. It was my last day in Shanghai and I requested some shopping time and she incorporated that in the itinerary. I was transported by a comfortable and clean car with a good driver. Seeing all the sights without the effort of taking public transport was great. She also took me to a local place for lunch where I tried hairy crab dumplings which were delicious. I checked out at the hotel in the morning and loaded my baggage into the car and the car dropped me off at the airport which was so convenient. Celine has incredible knowledge and told me about the background of all sights. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Shanghai!

What a phenomenal experience! This was a full day, customized tour spending time in a local park, walking through the Yuyuan Garden, Confuscious Temple, a delicious local dumpling lunch, official tea tasting, and incredible views nearly 100 floors up of the entire city. My guide was knowledgeable, friendly, conversational and our driver was on point as well. Would absolutely recommend it!

I was in Shanghai as a stopover to my final destination in India. I had a 16-hour stopover and decided to take a tour with Jenny's Shanghai Tours. Kim was my tour guide and he was excellent. He had a lot of patience in taking me around and explaining different areas of Shanghai. He was very thorough and overall it was a great experience. Jenny also helped guide me on how to get around Shanghai's metro and wrote out things in Chinese so that I can ask for help when needed. I would highly recommend this tour, and definitely request Kim as your guide!

Absolutely recommended! I had a great day with Kim who showed me the best things in Shanghai and helped me enjoy the city like locals do.

I had only one day to tour Shanghai. Booking this tour was the right choice. Jenny was in touch to make sure all the arrangement were clear. I arrived to my hotel lobby to find Portia already waiting with a sign with my name on it. She was was very knowledgeable of her city and was able to make adjustments on the fly to accommodate the low visibility and rearranged our stops. I even got to ride a bike around a portion of town like a local and visit the Marriage Market. This is in addition to the planned stops. We were able to fit in all the things I wanted to see and I did not once feel rushed. Portia was very aware of timing to make sure I arrive with ample time to head to the airport for my flight. All in all it was a great day and I would highly recommend this tour to everyone.

I strongly recommend this type of sightseeing to Shanghai. My guide Kim was very well prepared, he showed me all the most important places in Shanghai, I was able to feel the city like a local person moving by metro and bicycle. Lunch at local restaurant was delicious. Kim knew how to get into the most important places in the best way, where to buy tickets, where the queue is the smallest. I had little time to see the most important things in the city and it was the best I could do to not miss anything.

We had a fantastic experience with our tour in Shanghai. We only had one full day in town, so we though that taking a tour would be the most efficient way to spend our day. The tour surpassed our expectations, our guide was charming and funny, she took out to all the right places, and what difference it makes to be with a local. Would highly recommend this tour to anybody trying to maximize their time and experience in Shanghai. Thanks for great day.

Susie was great, she gave us loads of information and answered all our questions. Her English was very good and she had good knowledge of the different areas we visited. She also changed the tour slightly as we were ahead of schedule and she added an extra stop which was a real bonus. If you can specify a guide I can thoroughly recommend her.

Tour guide Portia is a consummate professional. I've had dealings with other reps from this company and they are similarly skilled. After completing the daylong tour with Portia I had knowledge and appreciation of Shanghai history, how to navigate the city. I found her to be resourceful. No metro station or taxi immediately available- no problem. Portia rented Mobikes for us. The sights were interesting but the tour was fun because the tour guide was interested!

Portia is my guide for this tour, she is knowledgeable and have provided a lot of info on the local culture and historical background. She takes good care of me and would recommend this tour if you do not have a lot of time.

Our guide - I think her name was Apple? -was fantastic. She managed to fit everything we wanted to see into our day and a few extras. It was a custom trip start to finish. Our driver was safe and the car comfortable.

We had a great time touring Shanghai with our very knowledgeable guide..... Portia. Although we had an idea what we wanted to see, Portia was able to suggest other worthwhile sights. It is certainly worthwhile taking a private tour if you have limited time as you are able to visit the places that interest you.

Our family had a very busy day with our tour guide, Portia, who met us promptly at the hotel. We visited the Shanghai World Financial Centre also known as The Bottle Opener, the Confucius Temple which included a Tea Ceremony, Yuyuan Garden Markets and Xintiandi. We also had a delicious traditional Chinese lunch. The schedule is very flexible so feel free to include any sites you would like to visit. We had already visited The Bund so chose leave that from the itinerary. Note that the cost of the tour does not include entry into any of the attractions or travel. We were a group of three so managed to get around in taxis, but if you are travelling with a large group it may be worth upgrading to the tour which includes a personal driver. We really enjoyed the tour and would recommend it, especially if you have never been to Shanghai before.
