Tour guide was from Dubrovnik and had some history of the city and Croatia to add. It was worth doing for sure.

Really enjoyed touring Dubrovnik with Natasha! It was fun to see where they've filmed Game of Thrones, as well as learn more about the city. Our guide even brought banners for us to take pictures with in front of "Kings Landing." The tour also included admission to the city walls, which was advantageous to use later on in the day to see more of the city on your own. Would definitely recommend!

Very informative. Great to see the filming sites and hear how it all happened. Worth doing if you are a fan.

Excellent tour, guide was very knowledgable. Got to see lots of locations where GoT was filmed along with pictures of the scenes to compare them to!

As huge fans of the show, we were thoroughly looking forward to the tour and it did not disappoint. Our tour guide Natasha was excellent throughout the whole tour. You get the sense that she’s an avid fan of the show herself and told us some great stories and had great banter with our great, which made the tour all the more enjoyable. Her knowledge on both the show and the history of Dubrovnik was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone and to those who love Game of Thrones as much as we do, the whole 3 hour tour will fly by. After the tour, it just made us want to rewatch the whole show all over again! Thank you Natasha

This tour was fantastic and our guide, Tea, was superb! It was exactly what I hoped for and more- inside info. on the filming, personal experience from Tea with the crew and overall experience, plus some history and general info. on Dubrovnik. I would highly recommend it!!

Ivana was great.. she kept it funny and informative with lots of insider info and behind the scenes stories. Loved it!

Our tour guide was excellent. This really was a tour that was a great use of our time. Combine history with the actual GOT sites and behind the scenes discussion of how i was filmed locally. Much better than the HBO documentary! Tour stayed on schedule and was well thought out.

The Game of Thrones Tour was great! It was 3 hours being shown around the sights used in the show, with our Guide having screen shots to show us the scenes that were shot in each of the spots we visited. We really felt like we were in the show by the end of the Tour. The Red Keep and King's Landing wee the highlights for us. It was interesting also to see how CGI had altered some of the places and how some of the scenes, e.g. The Walk of Shame, were actually shot in different areas within the walls to make it look like one long scene. You don't walk on the Walls with the Tour, however the ticket is good value as it includes entry to the City Walls, which is A$45 alone, and you can do this at your leisure after the GoT Tour. Also, if you have mobility issues it will be difficult to do the Tour, there is a lot of climbing up stairs. We had one person complaining the whole time that she didn't realise you'd have to go up stairs! think about it, it's walls and turrets! Love Viator, use them every time we travel and have never been disappointed!

I had the unexpected pleasure of visiting Croatia off season during the first week of March and was blessed with very pleasant weather and the uncrowded streets of Dubrovnik off season make this an enjoyable visit. Being a Game of Thrones fan, my travel friends and I did the Game of Thrones Walking Tour. Our guide was a delightful woman named Daniela, who was so enthusiastic showing us the sites used in the film. The cost of the tour also includes the price to go up to the wall ramparts, which most visitors do on their own for a fee. Not only did Daniela feature the sites where filing occurred, she highlighted the city in general and offered tips for dining, and joined us for a good portion of the wall walk, I think extending her duties as a tour guide...that extra touch make the experience so much more enjoyable. I think if you are a Game of Thrones fan particularly seasons 2 through 6, you will love seeing "King's Landing" aka Dubrovnik old city.

Tea was our tour guide and she was absolutely amazing. It was our first tour in Dubrovnik and I feel like we got the absolute best tour guide possible and that no other tour will live up to this one. She as funny, knowledgeable and entertaining. She was an extra in GoT and so had a lot of behind the scenes information about the filming and the cast and crew.

This was a great tour. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about Dubrovnik and GOT. Our guide, as did most, had a notebook of scenes from various seasons to help us see how the directors used various locations and to indicate what was added by technology to complete the image that was shown in the episodes. They do some amazing things but I think we all know that. Although the tour didn't include a guided tour of the city walls, the admission price to walk them on your on was. Great views but lots of stairs. Also, enjoyed the arboretum where scenes were shot.

I went with a friend who’d never seen GoT and she loved the tour. We had a small group with a lady called Tea who was very knowledgable and very entertaining. I especially enjoyed that she loved the show and had lots of inside stories. Thank you so much Tea, you made our visit

Tea was our tour guide and she was great! Gave lots of info about HBO filming in Dubrovnik but also provided info about Dubrovnik itself. She was an extra in one of the episodes so her experience and story was very personable. Make sure to wear comfy shoes and bring water...there will be times you have to climb lots of steps (just like anywhere in Dubrovnik)

Excellent tour for GOT fans and interesting facts about Dubrovnik. Tea our guide was so enthusiastic!
• Submitted 03 Jul 2019
Our guide, Daniela, was just great. She was super nice and enthusiastic. It's a must if you are a fan of the show and want to see some of the locations with your own eyes, but also learn a couple of interesting facts about shooting and production and some of the real historical events that happened in the landmarks

The tour was excellent and very informative. Our tour guide, Tea, did an excellent job describing both the history of the country and gave stories of working with HBO when they were in the city filming as well as excellent information about the show itself.

Our cruise ship made a port call to Dubrovnik on June 21 while sailing the Adriatic Sea. In researching something to do besides the usual cruise sponsored city walking tour I came across this tour. My wife and I love the GOT series but I was not aware that Dubrovnic featured so extensively in the King's Landing scenes. Our guide was Natasha and she was great! She knew all things GOT and even confessed to watching the show four or five time :) Our group was about 15 people, so it was manageable. The city was very crowded and it was hot, but Natasha did a good job of finding shade for us when she needed to explain a certain scene. She had 8" x 12" color photos of the scenes to jog our memories of the characters involved, the context of the scene, and when and where HBO took the liberty of making CGI changes. My wife and I opted for the add-on tour to the arboretum, a 20 minute drive out of the city on the coast. This was the setting for the King's Landing Gardens, and it was well worth it IMHO...simply beautiful. Natasha's dry sense of humor made this tour so much fun. I would consider this a must do for any GOT fan.

Our tour guide was Vlaho, he was quite informative on both the Game of Thrones show and history of Dubrovnik. Nice to have both of them on the tour since there is a lot of history at the sites. We had an excellent walk, and what's even better the ticket you get for one of the sites also gives you access to walk the city walls. I had a great time and learned a lot from behind the scenes from this tour. Also some "gossip" from when the show was being filmed was a nice touch.

The tour was amazing and Tea was a terrific guide with very interesting stories and insights to the show, filming, and the actors. What made my experience even better was that missed my initial tour and they let me reschedule with zero hassle. Fantastic customer service. Very appreciated!
