Meet your tour guide at main meeting point or at your hotel to start the full day tour to National Park Plitvice Lakes. With comfortable, air-conditioned minivan or bus ride through the countryside towards this unique Croatian jewel you just need to sit back, relax and listen to your tour guide's interesting stories about the park and Croatia.

The unity and harmony of the 16 lakes and their rare natural and cultural value is not only famous throughout Croatia, but also worldwide; earning this remarkable national park a coveted place on UNESCO's list of World Heritage sites. Arriving at Plitvice, you'll walk through these ancient woodlands led by your experienced guide. The guide will show you the whole park walking through the breathtaking nature and taking a tram and boat ride with nice panoramic views. Walking on cca 5 km route, make sure you have comfortable shoes for walking and extra battery for camera as you`ll have lot of photo opportunities.

The path takes you across Gornja Jezera (Upper Lakes), and then it's time for a magical boat ride within the sound of the waterfalls to Donja Jezera (Lower Lakes). Wherever you are in Pltivice's it's easy to see why its travertine marble formations are such an extraordinary natural phenomenon. The barriers, sills and other forms created in these lakes, karst rivers and streams is still an ongoing process that shapes the wonderful landscapes that make your walk through the park so enjoyable. Its these same travertine formations that have and are still creating the numerous magnificent waterfalls here. Over time, the water changes its course, leaving some barriers dry as it deposits new layers elsewhere. This constant evolution makes the Plitvice Lakes never look the same. The best way to actually see this happening is when you are standing in front of the Great falls, 78 meters high. The roaring thunder of the water as it hits the ground is unforgettable!

Your journey ends with a panoramic train ride. Afterward, the guide will suggest nearby local restaurant for an optional lunch to try some local food specialties. After a memorable day in such spectacular forests and lakes you will return to Split or Trogir on the original start point.

Tour guide, Igor, should have his photo as the illustration for the word "guide" in any dictionary. Really smart, calm and funny. You might think that the restaurant stop is a tourist trap but surprinsingly it s not. Really fair prices for good and enough food - even the croatian police was eating there when we stopped. The tour was exactly as described and we had enough time to enjoy the beauty of Plitivice. It was a little bit crowded but still ok - the park i mean not the trip itself. The bus driver Ante was really nice as well. All in all, a trip to remember.

Plitvice lakes are an awesome magical place..one of the best I have seen in all my travel across Europe. Tour was also very nice and about just right in terms duration...though we would have liked it to be much longer with so much beauty around.

This was a terrific day out. Plitvice Lakes and National Park is an amazing place and even though it was snowing and raining this did not hamper our enjoyment. Our guide, Andre, was really nice and very informative. It was a small group of 10 people and this was much better than having a large group of people. The restaurant where we stopped for lunch was lovely and the food very good. I would definitely recommend this trip.

loved the tour, Tiko and Toni were amazing, really friendly and enjoyable company. However it would have been good to receive detail information on the voucher advising it would be a 4h hiking tour so we could be more prepared in terms of shoes.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide Igor was fabulous, very well-informed, friendly and spoke multiple languages fluently. The day was long but that was to be expected and it was also very busy in the park this day. However, all ran smoothly and our guide made the clever decision to slightly change up the way in which we navigated through the park in order to avoid the crowds as much as possible. We were very grateful for this as it allowed us to see most of the park in about 4 hours despite the crowds. The park is amazingly beautiful and I would definately recommend this tour.

This trip was wonderful. I cannot speak highly enough of our guide Igor and driver Tijo. They made the long drive from Split informative and entertaining. They worked wonderfully off each other. The park itself was super crowded but for great reason, it was absolutely spectacular. If you're a nature lover (or at least a waterfall lover) and are looking for a good day trip from Split, I cannot reccomend this enough.

Our tour was fantastic, not only was our guide deeply knowledgeable, as he was born in Croatia, he made the tour seem like a very interesting history lesson. The drive to the park was long, but there was always something interesting our guide would point out and the history behind the land. The park

My fiancée and I really enjoyed this 12 hours trip. It was totally worth it. We highly recommending this travel agency and this trip to Plitvice. However, if you want to enjoy this active leisure to the fullest, you need to be a bit prepared, because of the long drives back and forward and long walks in a very crowded Plitvice park. You should have a good footwear, comfortable close, some snacks, water and a good night sleep before the departure. Firstly, it is a huge advantage that this travel agency can pick you up from a various locations in Split. Personally, we were taken from Radisson Blu Resort. This place were nearest from where we lived. The bus was quite good, conditioner worked perfectly very important, comfortable seats, spacious. Marco did a really good job. I admired how he handled all the challenges he got during our trip that day. As a guide, he had a lot of interesting information about Croatia, Split city and Plitvice from geographical, historical and political point. It was very interesting to listen. He was friendly, always with a smile, knows how to interact whit people. The travel agency should be very happy and grateful to have him in their team. In addition, we would like to say thank you for the bus driver that day. He did as well an excellent job.

Beautiful lakes. But no secret--very crowded

A breathtaking place to visit. In spite of the crowds, it's a must when visiting Croatia. On the ride back to Split, our guide gave a synopsis of the breakup of Yugoslavia that made the situation of the war understandable. Great outing.

This is a totally magical place. It includes a lot of walking. It gets better and better. This was the highlight of Croatia for sure.

Despite a rain drenched day, this visit with Mario and Tiho the most excellent and friendly coach driver was an excellent day trip choice. The lakes themselves are extraordinary but the scenery between Split and Plitvice was just as interesting. Mario's summary of recent Croation history was very informative. The optional meal after we left the National Park was a welcome opportunity to tide us over until we reached Split . Its a long day but well worth the effort. Highly recommended.

An excellent full day trip, leaving Split at 7:30am and returning at 8:00pm. Our driver, Andrew, was an excellent driver. Boran, our guide, filled us with stories and Croatian history throughout the day. He was amusing, cynical, organized and informative. Perfect way to see the park. All was on time and nicely done. Even the stop for late lunch, which we expected to be poor, was delicious. Overall excellent experience. Thank you, Boran, for all of the information you shared. Concrete!

The Lakes are gorgeous and the tour is arranged very well. It's a full day packed with fun. The guide, Mario, and the driver, Tijo, are incredibly friendly and funny. The bus itself is spacious and clean. You get to see some important landmarks, the Klis Fort, and the Velebit Mountains on your way there and with Mario narrating some interesting historical facts. Once at the venue, the walk itself is comfortable even though you are on foot for a couple of hours. The views of the different lakes in the park, the waterfalls, are breath-taking, and the colour of the water is exactly like in the pictures you see. It is good to wear comfortable walking shoes, take a very light jacket/sweatshirt to wear as the temperature is a few degrees lower than in general, and take some water and snacks. There is a stop for lunch at a restaurant with a set menu. I had the local fish dish and it was very good. The other people on the tour were also very friendly and we followed Mario's instructions, so we never got lost in the park. In all, this was a great experience and one of the highlights of my trip to Croatia this year.

Natural wonders were awe inspiring. Our tour guide, Mario and our bus driver Tiko, were very professional and knowledgeable. Do not miss this experiences, in fact, we rerouted our itinerary just to visit Plitvice Lakes. A must see !!!

We had such a wonderful time. Our tour guide was Igor and our driver was Tiho. The trip from Split is a very long day For us it was 730am to 1030pm. We happened to visit on the busiest day to date they actually broke the record for most people in the park, over 15000 and Igor never made us feel rushed. We had our kids 8 and 4 and Tiho made every effort to keep them comfortable and entertained. You can tell that Tiho sincerely loves his job and cares for every person who rides on his bus. We stopped on the way to the park and on the way back. If you have kids, I highly recommend picking up a sandwich from the small bakery inside so that they can eat on the boat. It says lunch in the description but you dont end up eating until 4 or 5 pm. The food for dinner is worth the trip and definitely recommend eating! On the drive back to Split, Tiho offers local beer and water, and they play some entertaining music! Plitvice is worth the long day, and Tiho and Igor make it even more enjoyable. Worth the cost, 100.

5 stars thanks to our fantastic tour guide - Andraou sp.? who made our day long day a lot of fun! We were lucky enough to be chosen to go in a van instead of a coach bus with 5 other people so we had a very private tour. Andraou was extremely funny and informative! He took time to get to know all of us and by the end of the trip - we were well acquainted with him and our fellow tourists. It's a long day - but we made several stops to and from Plitvice Lakes so plenty of bathroom and snack breaks! On our stops - Andraou would tell us about where we were and chose great stops for photo opportunities. Plitvice Lakes is absolutely stunning - from the color of the water to the beautiful water falls. Prepare yourself for a lot of walking and crowds if you go in August like we did. However - our guide had been there over 200 times so he knew how to get us around the park without too much trouble! There is no swimming there so just dress comfortably and bring water and a snack. There are a few areas to get water and snacks at the park. On the way back to Split, Andraou brought us to an authentic road side restaurant where we feasted on traditional food - they actually have roasted pig and lamb on spits outside the restaurant. It was a great experience and we can see why Andraou loves his job! 5 stars!

We had an amazing time at Plitvice Lakes. This is a must do when going to Croatia. The views are absolutely stunning and it is 100 worth it. Our guide Mario was FANTASTIC, hilarious, outgoing, and always looked out for us. I would absolutely recommend the tour to anyone visiting Croatia. The only thing I would change about this specific tour is the group was quite large, around 40 people. However, Mario handled all of us like a boss! They make enough stops to purchase water, snacks, and take bathroom breaks. The restaurant we were taken to was about a 3 star restaurant, this could probably be swapped out for another place to eat thats better but it wasn't a deal breaker because the day was awesome and we would do it again. Word of advice: bring/buy snacks, lots of water, and the right walking shoes for the entire day. You wont need water shoes because you cannot swim in the lakes, so no need to worry about that. Thanks Mario!!

This trip was fantastic. It was a long day but our tour guide Mario was great. I loved the brief history lesson he gave us about Croatia on the way home too. Because of an accident on the highway we were delayed in getting to Plitvice but he did not cut anything out of our tour. I would highly recommend this excursion, well worth the

An amazing day trip. Plitvice was one of the reasons I wanted to visit Croatia and it did not disappoint me! Our tour guides were fabulous. Mario was very professional, friendlyl and very caring for everyone on the tour. He told us about the history of Croatia in a very amenable way. In the park he made sure that everybody was fine and safe. Tiho , the driver was also very friendly, warm and helpful. I definitely reccommend this trip!
