We did this tour on my birthday and what an amazing day, our guide was very knowledgeable and considerate of everyone, we had the local food which was amazing and was nice to go to try the local food. Is well worth paying the extra to be within a smaller group. and we were lucky that the park wasn't very busy so managed to get some amazing photos, I will never forget this place.

Beautiful location. Wonderful guide.

Amust see. But too much walking on the last part of the tour.

Definitely a worthwhile experience- gorgeous park w/ amazing waterfalls and tropical colored water! However, if possible I'd highly recommend arranging from a location closer than Split- The 3 hour drive each way is a super long day. Our guide, Iris, was very informative on our drive there but was detached @ park where she was often on her cell phone and unjustly reprimanded a couple different partcipants. Overall, we had a wonderful day walking the trails and were fortunate that the park was not overly crowded as mentioned in other reviews.

Nothing to say except that a trip to Croatia that does not include Plitvice Lakes is the a wasted opportunity of monumental proportions. It will be the highlight of your trip. This tour is exceptional and special and a memory I will treasure for my lifetime.

Our tour guide was very knowledgable and had the best disposition -- energetic, enthusiastic and very passionate. He knew exactly where to take us to avoid the crowds of the national park, and led us through a great tour of this beautiful area. Be aware that this tour and visit in general requires some hiking including slippery, wet and uneven steps. Our visit was rainy and cold, and it seemed like some people were unprepared for the amount of walking involved note: bring layers for warmth and wear comfortable shoes with a good grip. I was fine in sneakers, but if you're not used to walking on uneven terrain/hiking regularly, something with more grip like a hiking book might be advised. My only critique of the tour itself were the stops made on the drive with 20 minute breaks -- restroom stops on the long drives were appreciated, but I wish they had been quicker in order to get us to the national park and then back sooner. Overall, I highly recommend this trip and tour!

Travel from and back to Split was made comfortable by driver Tomislav. Guide Ivana was pleasant, informative and helpful and paced the 10Km approx. trip around the upper and lower lakes to perfection for a group that consisted of 4 year old to retired people using walking canes. There was a short boat ride and a bus ride as well in the national park. The lakes are surreal and a must see!

A must see in Croatia. Our guide was fabulous. The park is stunning. Although it is a Very long day if doing from Split. In my opinion it was worth it in a day tour, but I am sure not everyone feels that way.

What a phenomenal tour! We took one of our days in Split for this adventure. It was a long day as it was 6 hours on a bus going there and back, but was well worth it! This was one of the most beautiful places we have ever been. Don't miss out!

This tour was absolutely awesome. My friend and I were picked up at the Radisson hotel on time, upon arrival into the national park, our guide Marin knew how to escape the long tourist lines and to get the most from the day. The beautiful color of the waterfalls and lakes were stunning. Highly recommend

Well worth the money, our guide Harris knew all the best tracks and saved us from having to line up for hours. Comfortable bus too with easy pick up and drop off. Absolutely fantastic day!

Plitvice was an incredible experience. This tour was one of the best I have been on. If you are traveling to Croatia, Plitvice is a must. I am so glad I decided to go on this tour.

Excellent trip. Amazing views and close contact with nature, even though the place is full of people. Lots of walking, bring enough water and snacks. Plitvice lakes were the highlight of our visit in Croatia.

Great driver, amazing guide Christina, and an amazing experience that you don't want to miss. FYI you can't swim here, but you get close enough to some of the waterfalls that the mist cools you. Food stops aren't as good as picking up some food at a bakery in split before you go. Bring water!

This was great! A very smart new minibus. The guide was so enthusiastic, he really made our tour fantastic! The lakes are beautiful but it's a shame they are so crowded. There's quite a lot of queuing up for photos on the narrow boardwalk which can be frustrating. It might be to busy in august...

Love Plitvice Lakes. They were absolutely stunning and the day was well-organised. Lots of walking and being peak season, it was very, very crowded.

The tour was very well organised and everything was as per description. The tour guide Damir made huge efforts to ensure that we had enough background and history of all that we saw along the way. Plitvice Lakes National park is magic!!

An absolute must do tour. Even though the day was long and raining, 11 hours, it was worth it. Most wonderful scenery. Take a warm jacket. Mini van was comfortable and tour guide was excellent.
