We completed the tour as scheduled without feeling rushed. Our tour guide Matija was incredibly knowledgeable about the Plitvice Lakes and the surrounding areas. His knowledge of Croatia’s history was also very educational and interesting. Thank you for the great experience! Ron NYC

We are very glad we went to the Plitvice Lakes with this tour company and their highly experienced guide. It is a very popular destination and we realized that it would be very difficult to go independently. We chose this company for its excellent reviews. We were not disappointed. The 8-seater van was a new model and in excellent condition. Safety is our top priority. There were three other guests in our group who all enjoyed this trip as well. Karlo our driver and guide was very personable and has a wealth of knowledge on the sights along the route, and Croatian history. He is a very safe driver and made our trip very enjoyable. You might find tour operators with a cheaper price but you get what you pay for. For us, safe vehicles and safe drivers are our top priorities. This company and our guide Karlo exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed the tour and we will go on the Slovenia tour with them when we come back to Zagreb.

We really enjoyed our tour to Plitvice Lakes. Our guide was knowledgeable about the history of Croatia and passionate about political history which we enjoyed. The guide gave us plenty of time for photos and took pictures of the couples in the photogenic spots. Strongly recommend this tour, was a highlight of our trip.

Our guide Mat is a fantastic conversationalist, super friendly and helpful in terms of giving recommendations. I was so lucky to have sat up front, next to him so that I could talk to him the whole trip. We discussed history, sports, to getting recommendations for our next destination--Zadar. Our day started early (Mat was on time and the meeting location was easy to find) and it was jammed packed with getting to Rastoke and hiking half of the 8 km park. He had all the sites planned out so that we would have amazing pictures and we didn't have to wait in the sun too long (for the boat ride). I recommend going in the summer so that you can see all of the park. Put your hiking boots on and get moving!

Matt our tour guide was excellent. We have learnt so much about Croatia and its rich history. Beautiful scenery, excellent tour overall! I can strongly recommend.

We went on this tour the day before yesterday. It's a bit of a drive to get to the park, but well worth it. The pit stop to see the milling town and to grab a quick bite is well placed to break up the drive. The park itself is breathtakingly beautiful. The waterfalls and lakes are truly a natural wonder and well worth seeing. The whole place is one post card worthy view after another. Our guide Mat was both friendly and helpful. I would caution those considering the tour that this is a fairly lengthy hike of around six miles, and the path isn't particularly well maintained by North American standards so if you aren't particularly fit and have problems with mobility or balance this probably isn't a tour you want to take. That's no fault of the tour operator its simply the status of the park. Proper foot wear and being prepared for rain are also advisable.

Plitvice Lakes is a sight to behold. This place should be in the list of Wonders or the world. Highly recommended with comfy shoes and lots of water =))

Our guide knew where to go and how to avoid the queues. This meant we got the most out of the incredible experience. The lakes and village are extraordinary. Places not to miss.

Our guide was Marty . He was very informative and gave loads of tips duing the trip and madr sure we were okay as its quiet exhausting if you aren’t someone who is used to walking for hours . If you have only one day and don’t plan to stay at Plitvice Lakes National Park - you surely need a guide or else you’ll land up clueless and get lost . Being on this tour saves a lot of time and removes the hassle of planing how to get there and allows to make the most of the time you have . Lunch options are very limited so probably buy your own before if you are very particular. Our tour ended at 4pm and was back to the hotel at 6pm which gave me enough time to explore Zagreb as well.

This was an excellent tour, our tour guide carlo was awesome. It wasn't just a tour of the lakes- we got history we got current events , we got a sense of Croatia that we did not have prior to the trip. The lake was spectacularly breathtaking, truly a wonder of nature.

Absolutely fabulous! Our guide was most knowledgeable and explained Croatian history to us on the way to Plitvices. We were never rushed and yet saw a good 7 miles of the park. My husband had trouble but our guide arranged for a van to transport him back to the entrance area to wait for us.we met wonderful folks from Brazil and India which added to the experience!

Inspite of grey skies- it was a wonderful experience. A group of six headed out with Goran from Petros Tours. He made the tour even more interesting with the wealth of information he gave us. Insight into beautiful Croatia. Thank you, Goran for your well guided tour and your patience. The lakes were an unforgettable experience and one that everyone should put on their Bucket List.

The day trip is terrific. The natural beauty of the Lakes is overwhelming. It is high seasons but it is manageable; perhaps less crowd on the day after Croatia has won the semi-finals !!! We are lucky to have Karlo who is a very knowledgeable guide and takes care of each one joining the tour. A full five-hour in the Lakes. I’ll not hesitate to recommend the tour to anyone.

Even though other tourists has cancelled, and I was the only customer of the tour, they did not cancel it and still have a tour guide to pick me up from hotel to enjoy a private tour of Plitvice Lake. Tour guide Luka was very knowledgeable as he was studying history in University and told me background of Croatia history as well as life in Croatia nowadays. The tour itself was great, some walking but the path was very nicely laid so as long as you wear a pair of hiking shoes should be no problem. The scenary was magnificent, and Luka told me where to take good pictures. Truly enjoy the day! Thank you.

On the day it was raining but our guide couldnt do enough for us he went out of his way to make our day great. His know with the history of the areas was excellent great day allround

Excellent full day excursion but it is hard work if you have slight mobility issues. The loop that is walked from boat station 2 is particularly challenging as the paths are uneven and concentration on the terrain below is essential. Recommended as the scenery is outstanding.

The Plitvice Lakes tour was one of the best I have ever done. The park and its natural beauty made us breathless. There was so much to take in and it just kept going on and on, like a Disney park for waterfalls and gorgeous peaceful views. In addition, our guide Goran was friendly, and EXTREMELY knowledgable about all aspects of the tour as well as the history of the region, Zagreb in general and basically he had a great answer for anything we asked him. Anyone would be lucky to get this guide! Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Probably one of the best tours I have ever taken. The tour was led by Luka, who did a great job with the group, and had an almost encyclopedic knowledge of Croatia. We had some exceptionally heavy rain on the day and Luka did fantastic keeping the group motivated and sticking with the tour - we were rewarded with some amazing views and sunshine at the end. The tour company is highly organised, and i appreciated the tour confirmations, and notification of pick up time the day before. The group of people on the tour also contributed it to being a great day!

The tour by Petros tours was well organised and the guide Stejepan was knowledgeable and friendly. The falls were very pretty and definitely worth checking out. Remb to bring an umbrella and wear comfortable walking shoes/sandals. A light jacket wouldn't be amiss as well during the cooler seasons.
