Take in Cuba's vibrant cities, picturesque landscapes and beautiful beaches on this 10 day tour of the Caribbean's largest island. Explore colonial pearls such as Trinidad and Cienfuegos, the Vinales Valley, the tropical paradise of Cayo Levisa and of course, Cuba's captivating capital Havana.

Havana City Tour
This morning we meet our guide and embark on a tour of Havana's historic centre. Around the Parque Central, the gate to the old town, we see Baroque and Jugendstil buildings right next to each other. We stop at the famous restaurants La Bodeguita del Medio and La Floridita, where Hemingway enjoyed numerous Mojito and we learn everything about Rum in the Havana Club Rum Museum and of course have the chance to taste it. Afterwards lunch will be served in a restaurant. Spend the evening at leisure.

Las Terrazas nature reserve
Havana - Las Terrazas - Vinales. Today we visit the Las Terrazas community and nature reserve. The community is located in the majestic Sierra del Rosario mountain range. Forestry and eco-tourism are the main industries in this spectacularly beautiful area. After exploring this rural community, nestled in a natural paradise, we continue to the region of Pinar del Rio. The region is famous for its tobacco and we'll visit a tobacco farm to meet some local farmers. Continuing our journey we drive past beautiful green tobacco fields, stopping at Los Jazmines viewpoint before heading back to Havana for the night.

Today we enjoy an excursion to the beautiful island of Cayo Levisa. We travel by ferry to this small island, which is located off the north coast. Here you can enjoy the dreamlike Caribbean beaches and crystal clear waters. Lunch is included on the island and we make our way to Vinales in the afternoon, passing stunning landscapes en route.

Vinales - Cienfuegos. After breakfast we set off in the direction of Cienfuegos, which is often referred to as the ‘Pearl of the South’. This afternoon we explore the city of Cienfuegos situated on the beautiful Cienfuegos bay. You can admire the neo-classical architecture of the city and visit Tetro Terry and Palacio del Valle.

Topes de Collantes nature reserve
Cienfuegos - Trinidad. After breakfast we travel to Sierra de Escambray. The Topes de Collantes nature reserve is a heaven for nature lovers with caves, waterfalls, natural pools and much more, including the Guanayara Park health resort. Many rare rainforest plants and animals can also be found here. We enjoy a hiking tour where we can take in the beautiful landscapes with waterfalls and picturesque 'fincas'. Before travelling on to Trinidad, we will be served a delicious lunch in a typical local restaurant. On arrival in Trinidad we'll meet the families we're staying with for the next two nights in their casa particulares (homestays).

Today starts with an informative city-tour of Trinidad followed by free time to explore on your own. The city was built in the 16th century and walking through its streets it feels as if time has stood still. Don’t forget to try the typical local drink Canchanchara.

Trinidad - Santa Clara. Today we head for Santa Clara, en route we'll stop at Valle de los Ingenios where we visit Torre Iznaga - the former watchtower which was used to oversee slaves working on the sugar cane fields. We'll also visit Sancti Spiritus, where you'll enjoy a city tour and a visit to the famous Yayabo bridge. We'll finish our day with dinner at our hotel in Santa Clara.

Pinar del Rio & Vinales
Santa Clara - Havana. This morning we'll visit the famous Che Guevara Memorial. The memorial is where the remains of the famous revolutionist rest, which were only found a few years ago. We'll also visit the 'tren-blindado' memorial, which commemorates the battle of Santa Clara and specifically the events of 29th December 1958.
Arriving in Havana this afternoon, the rest of the day is at leisure.
