During the Middle Ages, profits from the Kutna Hora silver mines brought fame to the lands of the Czech Crown, and Kutna Hora became the richest and most powerful town.

“
I read a lot about the church/museum before I went but it was still a very strange and a bit on the eerie side. I understand the custom and the need for re-using consecrated land but these were real people at one time and I couldn't help but feel it was a bit "disrespectful." But, out guide was really very used to the various "reactions" and was able to put them all in perspective. We also went to a couple of other places in the town and our guide really knew the history and the details and kept it all very interesting. A long but very interesting day.”

“
its a long day trip but i love it. its a less than 2 hours ride by bus. our tour guide is great. our other guest are nice, respectful and always on time too. after the Sedlec ossuary and st barbara cathedrals, we have a walking tour to the city square. For me its nice to go strolling around the neighbourhood, so wear comfortable shoes. don't have much free time but i think its okay and understandable. i enjoyed our free time with having some coffee and cake on the cafe nearby. we came back to the city right for dinner time ^^ it start around 12.30 so have some food and drink before or to be eaten on the bus, and you can going around the city by yourself in the morning before the tour start.”

“
Great trip outside the city of Prague. Tour guide gave good information/history about Prague itself and also Kutna Hora. I would’ve liked a little bit more time added to the trip to do some self exploration around the town, as we were on a strict timeline. But other than that, really enjoyed the experience.”

“
10-15 people on the tour. Bus a/c broke and the bus became very hot. While we toured Kunta Hora the company sent a replacement bus. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Plenty of time for pictures and a little shopping!”

“
Guide was excellent the trip even better . Get free time too . The bone chapel was small so the time given to go take photos and view was enough .”

“
We took the half day trip to Kutna Hora on Friday 1st December. I think at this time of year it is best to go in the morning rather than the afternoon to make the most of the hours of daylight. The journey was very bumpy - Czech roads are not smooth! The guide made the travelling time go fast with interesting commentary. The Ossuary is a sight well worth seeing as is St Barbara's cathedral. I especially enjoyed the visit to the Italian Court to hear about the silver mining and the coin minting, The 3 places altogether provided an insight into medieval and early modern life in the City.”

“
Very nice tour. It is a quick day but for someone who had limited time and was due to fly back that night, it was perfect for me. The main reason I booked the trip was for the bone church, however you do get to see some other sights around Kutna Hora including a beautiful church. Tour guide was very knowledgable. The only downside is that you do not have time to explore on your own and there is very limited time for lunch so if you do have more time or want to do that you may want to book a longer tour. Overall very happy with the experience and would recommend.”

“
Fun day trip, I would definitely recommend taking. The coach that drove us to and from Kutna Hora was very comfortable, which was nice. The guide was so friendly and informative, she really made the trip fun. We visited the bone church, St. Barbara's Cathedral, a castle, and walked around the town square. It's a nice little adventure away from Prague, and a great way to see the country.”
