Hurghada’s central location provides a gateway to prime offshore reefs, which are some of the finest in the world. The tour was fantastic, well paced and covered a variety of experiences.. the main attraction - seeing the pyramids - was enhanced by seeing several other ancient treasures such as Abu Simbel and Nefertari's tomb. It was great to have the experience of a few nights on the feluccca sailboat and even the Cairo to Aswan train.

Our guide Alam was so knowledgable about his country and he did a fantastic job of explaining everything to us, while taking care of all the details for us. Everything was handled so well by Alam, with such grace and efficiency, plus he was a lot of fun to travel with! I have worked in the travel industry for thirsty five years and have travelled extensively. Alam is one of the best guides I have ever had.

I would like to express my gratitude for a most wonderful experience in Egypt. Our guides Alam and Russell were wonderful, especially Alam who went out of his way to make our trip comfortable and trouble free. I would recommend On the Go and will definitely travel with you again. We have been on 13 overseas trips and this was our best holiday ever. The best experience apart from being at the pyramids, was seeing Nefataris Tomb. A very moving and deeply emotional experience for me as I cried at the sheer beauty of the exquisite paintings in her tomb. Please pass on our sincere thanks to your Egyptian team, on the go, and especially Alam.

The trip to Egypt was an amazing experience, which will be cherished for life! The pyramids, tombs, temples, cruise on the nile, the snorkelling in the red sea were all extraordinary… every tiny detail of the trip was planned by OTG tours and executed without a hitch. What made this trip more special was the amazing bunch people I met on the tour. Our guide for this tour was Dino, who was amazing with his lessons in Egyptology, and ensured our comfort and safety all through. We had the company of Aamer on board the Nile cruise, who kept us entertained with his stories of ancient Egypt. I would certainly visit Egypt again…!

My family & I had a wonderful tour of Egypt. It was a jammed packed itinerary. It was all captivating, from our arrival in Cairo with it's organised chaotic traffic , to the iconic legendary sites. Down to Aswan by Sleeper train was an exciting experience. A relaxing cruise sailing down the Nile on a Felucca with Nubian food was an awesome experience and should not be missed. The vibrant and enchanting markets of Khan el Khalili is a souvenir paradise. The Cairo museum is a treasure trove of Pharonic history. Too short a time to do justice to both. After 13 days i eventually got the hang of haggling. The hassling in the streets were an annoyance though. Hot air ballooning over the Valley of the Kings in Luxor was a breathtaking experience. It was the highlight. Hurghada on the Red Sea was a good break to catch up on rest and relaxation. Our main guide Dino, was friendly and very helpful throughout our tour. He has a wealth of knowledge on things Egyptian and provided good information on the sites and monuments. He made it all contextual and meaningful. We couldn't have done it without him.

Will visit Cairo again soon.

I just recently came back from the On the Go King Ramses tour and I miss Egypt and “the family”. This was truly a trip of a lifetime! Egypt is a beautiful country and every sight we visited was overwhelmingly breathtaking! I have to say that I felt safe all the time so do not be nervous about going to Egypt! What made this trip spectacular and memorable is our tour guide Momo and the amazing group of people that we met that truly became like family. I read reviews about Momo before going on the tour and was hoping that we would be our guide. It did not take long to be able to validate all the great things that others mentioned about him. Firstly, his passion for his job and love for his country was clearly evident when he spoke with such great enthusiasm. Momo went out of his way to make sure that every single person on the tour was happy and comfortable at all times. From surprising us with chocolates, to lending us money until we could get to a bank to exchange our currency, Momo went beyond the call of duty to ensure we had an amazing trip! If you are going to Egypt you will want Momo by your side!

We had a fantastic time in Egypt! It was on my bucket list and was a wonderful way to remember this milestone year with two of my closest friends! Such a beautiful country! At first I was concerned about the safety aspect, but once we got there I realised that it was very safe. Safer than some places in Europe, which I have seen pick pockets help themselves in Rome and Madrid. We had such a great trip! It's been difficult to be back home.

Every place we visited was awe inspiring. To think that 5,000 years ago what people had accomplished. A true testament to the intelligence of the people at that time. My favourites have to be riding the camels to the pyramids, visiting the valley of the tombs, and then visiting the Egyptian museum... but, what we miss most is the company of MoMo and the rest of our 'family'... The tour has done a great job in setting everything in an order where you probably retain a little bit at a time, but by the time you get to the end you appreciate the history and the stories of the Gods and Kings/Queens... Our tour ranged in age where I believe our youngest were 18 and ranged to the 60's and, everyone had a splendid time! We did see and do a lot during the time there, but I wasn't exhausted. The tour guide (MoMo) did a great job in bringing everyone together to be a family unit. We miss him and the remainder of the family very much. He went over and beyond to ensure everyone's needs were met and that we loved his country as much as he does- and our group was demanding! I loved his wealth of knowledge, he knew the right balance of information to give without losing us (there's a lot of history!), and had a great sense of humour. He has tons of energy and is excited and passionate about what he does.

I need to point out, that a lot of people came by themselves. I feel that MoMo did a great job in being inclusive. He's a warm and genuinely caring personality. Most people don't go the extra mile. He made Egypt and our stay feel like 'home', and I never missed home during my time away... He was always the last to eat because he made sure every single person was well taken care of. I've been on other tours, I don't remember anyone else being this hospitable...He was a lot of fun and I give him 100% credit of making this trip one of the most memorable vacations. His words have resonated and have come home with me... I am waking up every morning and saying 'it's a beautiful morning, isn't it?' to get me through my winter day, and so many of us from our trip are doing the same... We upgraded to the cruise instead of the felucca, which fell during New Year's Eve. We had a blast! Thank you Adham for dancing the night away with our group and having to change his shirt 3X because we wouldn't allow him to take a break from the dance floor. I plan on making another trip and taking our large extended family to meet in Egypt! But my condition will be that it has to be MoMo leading our pack!

I had an anazing time in Egypt Momo taught me so much about Egyptian history. His love for his country and history was infectious. Momo went out of his way to accomdate our wishes in our free time. Arranging for taxis with someone he trusted and having the driver wait and return us safely. He took us to local places to experience real Egyptian food. Helped my daughter arrange to go diving in Hurghada. Nothing was to difficult for Momo and was always with a smile. I always felt safe and well immersed in Egypian culture and history. Thank you for such a wonderful tour.

Good morning,

I have recently had the very lucky opportunity to spend 12 days in the company of one of (what I can only assume to be) one of your top Egypt guides. I was utterly impressed by the professionalism, expertise, willingness to go the extra mile, and lovely caring nature of Mahmoud Ramadan. As marketing and tourism Professional and academic I am highly critical... but despite this ... Mahmoud impressed and made our trip a great experience and a real delight. He deserves to be recognized by us as exceptionally talented and committed to add value to his clients and On The Go.

This was my first tour and I was extremely impressed.

Egypt was a revelation. I was at times overwhelmed by the history and grandeur of the landmarks. The people were warm and welcoming everywhere we went. Our guide, Momo (Mohamed Saiid) was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He really took an already amazing tour to the next level.

The King Ramses tour encompassed everything I had dreamed of seeing including the Pyramids, Abu Simbel, and the Valley of the Kings as well as a side of Egypt that most people never get to enjoy. Floating down the Nile on the felucca and swimming in the Red Sea were truly once in a lifetime experiences.

I look forward to travelling with On the Go on future holidays.
