What a lovely informative and amazing guide. Kept us on track very organised introduced us to local culture. Very passionate about Egypt and his heritage I.e. Related to Rameses! We loved all parts of the tour except the choice of hotel in Giza. Which is nothing to do with him. Well deserving of an award

Hi, I wanted to write a review about our time in Egypt but couldn't find anywhere to post. See below. Travelling Egypt with On the Go tours was a dream come true. Our guide, Momo, brought Egypt’s history alive with this vast knowledge and his obvious passion and enjoyment for what he does. My repeated questions about Gods, Goddesses, Pharaohs and hieroglyphics were always fully explained until I understood them. Momo also went above and beyond for my request to see Queen Nefertari’s tomb which had been recently opened to the public. Even though the Valley of the Queens was not on the itinerary, Momo arranged tickets and took a small group of us to see the tomb. What an unbelievable experience to see the most beautiful tomb in Egypt with so few people, and for an extended length of time. This trip was the holiday of a lifetime and I cannot recommend On the Go Tours and in particular, Momo, highly enough. If you’re ever going to see Egypt, do it now! You won’t regret it.

The 'King Tutankhamen' tour was absolutely amazing. Being immersed in Egypt's long history and ancient sites fills you with awe. My first sighting of the Pyramids I had to pinch myself so I knew I was really here. Everywhere we went, be it staying in a hotel or travelling on an overnight train, you felt welcome and totally safe. The two night felucca cruise would have to be one of the highlight experiences of the trip, The knowledge, humour and professionalism of our guide, Alam helped make the trip all that it was. I learned so much about the history and culture of this captivating place. There is something about Egypt that touches your very soul. I will definitely return.

Egypt is a truly amazing country. It holds a unique blend of modern and ancient, and a spirit that hasn't diminished during its 7,000+ years of history. Our guide, Alam, was brilliant in helping us get a better feel for the country's history, both modern and ancient. He was very patient with our many questions, and always able to provide an answer. The accommodation in Egypt was beautiful. At the hotels, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The best accommodation in Egypt wasn't in a hotel, it was on a felucca floating down the Nile for two nights. When I go back to Egypt, I'm definitely doing that again. Egypt has become a country of "when" for me. "When I go back..." and I truly recommend that all travellers should go aswell. Never before have I felt so safe, so far away from home. Thank you.

I did the King Tutankhamen 9 day tour of Egypt in November 2016 with On the Go Tours and words can't explain what an amazing, interesting place Egypt is. The entire trip we felt safe and welcomed and not to mention, were lucky enough to have had the best tour guide Alam, I know I can speak for the whole group when I say this, he was very knowledgeable, patient with a great sense of humour, nothing was ever a bother for him and he always made sure everyone was ok and enjoying themselves. I would definitely recommend On the Go Tours, all itinerary was well planned from the time we arrived at the airport and were taken to our hotel until the time we left. The places and temples we visited were amazing. Sailing down the Nile on the felucca, was a wonderful experience thanks to all the crew who were always happy and friendly.

Overall I loved every minute of the Egypt. We had a great tour group and the best tour guide. We all enjoyed it so much, some of us are planning a return visit in 2018.

My experience with On the go tours was absolutely exceptional. My mum and I travelled from South Africa to Egypt on their King Tutankhamun tour from 29 October 2016- 6 November 2016. From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed I can guarantee that our trip was perfect. Our guide Mohammed Radwan (Dino) exceeded our expectations throughout the entire trip, first of all he is extremely friendly and let us know the moment he met us that we can ask him absolutely anything and he will do everything he can to help and guide us throughout our tour. At every single site or monument that we visited prior to visiting he gave us the entire history based on that particular site or monument, he even went above and beyond and informed us of any other alleged theories or stories relating to that monument or site. At every single place we visited I as well as others from our group noticed that while Dino was informing us about the place and history several patrons from other tour groups would stop and also listen to him. We had quite a large group and by Day 2 of our tour he knew all our names, I mean that's insane. When we were at any potential markets or encountered stalls he would tell us what we can expect, what to avoid, and what we should actually pay for items based on their actual worth. Honestly we expected their to be some danger to our trip because of everything we've heard on the news etc but I've honestly felt more safe walking around in egypt than I do in my own country and my mum feels just the same. I honestly feel that Dino is the best and no 1 guide in Egypt based on my and my mums experience and from how I've seen other guides interact with their groups. He feels more like a friend and it's only through him that our group became so close to each other and have built up friendships with each other even though we've all returned home. His hospitality is incredible and theres no doubting his passion and love for Egypt, it truly knows no bounds. I confidently believe that he deserves the recognition of tour guide of the year and so much more.
