Our tour group had 15 people and we had a brilliant day. The tour guide was so knowledgable about the show and it was entertaining to hear about his experiences as an extra. He had an epic sense of humor and was happy to chat about Iceland in general too. It is a must do!

Great tour to majestic locations and GOT trivia. Tour guide was both knowledgeable and fun. Bus was comfortable.

First things first, Theo is incredible! He's incredibly knowledgable about the show, a true Game of Thrones enthusiast, and just an all around nice guy. Going on this tour was like traveling around Iceland with your eccentric uncle. You'll get lots of great life advice, and some great tips for traveling around Iceland. It was the best way to start off my trip, and with such a small group size it was very easy as a solo traveler to feel connected and safe with my fellow Game of Thrones enthusiasts. You won't visit any super touristy places, which is very nice, and if you're lucky enough to have Theo, he might show you some of his favorite places in Iceland. This tour definitely isn't for anyone under the age of 18, but it's an all around good time. Highly recommend!

Whether you're a GOT fan or not you’re going to have the best time on this one of a kind tour. The itinerary, perfect and relevant. The sights, breathtaking! The bus, warm and comfortable and the driver outstanding and plenty of comforts stops were scheduled in.Lastly, the most important part, Theo, the guide, was Unique and knowledgeable and very entertaining! I loved this tour and think anyone would.

Theo our tour guide was really funny and tells a lot of things about Game of Thrones, on and off camera... he tells a lot of stories and trivia and jokes, very lively that’s why very little time to explore and photograph the place...but that’s fine..

The tour itself was amazing. We left right on time and our first stop was at a horse farm. The weather initially was snowy and cloudy,it made you feel as though you were in an episode. The tour guide Theo was very knowledgeable and humorous. I appreciated the driver as well, very cautious. Great trip!

Theo is an awesome tour guide, and gives great and entertaining stories from behind-the-scenes! The places you visit are also not only beautiful non their own, but extra exciting, because you will definitely recognize them from the show!

Got to see areas that weren't massively touristy which was a relief, the guide knew a lot about the series and filming and was extremely funny and entertaining - would definitely recommend

Tour was awesome. Sword biter - sorry Theo - was full of entertaining info about Game of Thrones, complete with scene re-enactments. If you’re a nerdy adventurer, this is the tour for you. Ps - it’s pretty funny and unfiltered so don’t bring your tiny kids or your conservative great aunt Mary.

Two of us took the Game of Thrones Filming Locations Tour from Reykjavik on Tuesday August 21, 2018. Taking a Shuttle form one of the Reykjavik bus stops to the Greyline terminal (where the tour originated) was easy and efficient. The tour bus was almost completely full. Vehicle was comfortable and visibility of countryside through large side windows was excellent. The best part of the experience was our guide, Teodor (exchuse spelling!) who was GOT costumed and offered a running commentary by microphone from the front of the bus the entire day. He had been an extra on the show and shared many personal and informative experiences. LOTS of humor!!! He had us roaring at some of his stories. We made several stops during the day, including for and excellent lunch at a countryside café (the only meal we had in Iceland that one could consider "moderately" priced). The weather was a bit windy with drizzle but everyone was dressed for it. None of the out-of-bus hikes to viewing sites was excessively long or over rough terrain, and Teo kept a vigilant eye on the passengers to be certain no one wondered off. Game of Thrones fan or not, this would be a day well spent for any visitor to Iceland. Thank you, Teo, for making the day so enjoyable.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience on this tour! I would highly recommend doing at the beginning of your trip. Not only did the tour guide give a great overview of the Game of Thrones locations, but also gave us great insight into the Icelandic culture and how locals perceive Iceland.

Had a great time and the host was very knowledgeable about GOT and Iceland in general. Would reccommend.

We spent the day touring a few different filming locations by bus around south-western Iceland. The tour was accompanied by pictures, trivia, and Icelandic history by an Icelandic local. I would totally recommend this tour to anyone!

The Game of Thrones tour was very fun. I got to scratch an Icelandic horse behind the ears, view the worlds largest heath from your comfy seats on the bus, see waterfalls, walk the Bloody Gate to The Eyrie, and see

Amazing guide with info as wonderful as her jokes! Not only did we learn little known facts about our favorite show, but our knowledge of Iceland as a whole increased as well! Our regards to Dee Dee! Valar Dohaeris...

The best tour ever!!! Theo is the most awesome guide. This was truly a great tour and made you feel like you were there.

This was a remarkable tour. Our guide, Theo, was a extra in several of the episodes of GOT and was able to recount his experiences as he shared many places used for filming. The visits to the horse farm that supplied the Icelandic horses not ponies and a Viking style farm used in a wildling battle scene were particularly memorable. Not recommended for young children, but fantastic for fans of the books and TV series. Highly recommended.

Words cannot even express how WONDERFUL this tour was! Theo was our guide. He was knowledgeable, entertaining, candid, funny, open, sincere and genuinely passionate about his calling. My son and I were entranced with his stories, experiences, pictures and general openness about GOT. To have a guide that is so caring and passionate is a tribute to Iceland and all she has to offer. There wasn't a boring minute of our tour and we left feeling much more informed about Iceland, her history and culture. Theo was personable and attentive. If you get Theo for this tour, be prepared to enjoy your day and be actively engaged in every part of the tour. The worst part of this tour was it ending. Truly feel like we made a friend in Theo and have friended him on FB. He has a unique name on FB so no spoiler here but if you get the chance, ask him - I'm sure he'd appreciate more followers! WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!

LOVED this tour. Our guide was so enthusiastic about GOT it was exciting. Definately a must see when you are in Iceland

To start this is a LONG tour. Eight hours with three actual shooting locations one is the continental divide a visit to a horse farm horses were in GoT and a couple of additional stops. Getting that out of the way our guide made it very entertaining. At no point did the trip drag or did I regret getting on that bus. Our guide is an extra in Game of Thrones and had great stories from filming the show and other films he worked in. During the time on the bus he would tell his stories and crack jokes all while the beautiful landscape passed by. Like the Game of Thrones itself this tour isn't meant for the young or those easily offend by I'll say salty language. Although tipping is not a required thing in Iceland I HIGHLY recommend you tip your guide... they make the tour. My husband and I tipped 50 US exchange rate is not your friend. We thought that was a minimum for the entertainment we got for 8 hours. The bus doesnt have a restroom, but it does have free WiFi that worked fantastic for the entire trip.

Really good day. Was cold and windy hey welcome to Iceland but our tour guide Tiao sp? was awesome. He had a lot of great stories from being involved with the filming of the show in Iceland and made the day fun. If your not into the show the scenery is classic Iceland and not on the regular tourist stops so worth the day. If your a fan than this is must.
