Get picked up from either the airport or your Delhi hotel at 2:30am in order to reach the Taj Mahal at dawn. Travel in a private vehicle to Agra, around a 3-hour drive away via the Yamuna Express Highway.

On arrival in Agra, meet your local tour guide and begin a sunrise tour of the world-famous Taj Mahal, built by a great emperor in memory of his beloved wife.

Please note: the Taj Mahal is closed every Friday

After your tour, enjoy an included buffet breakfast in a 4/5 star hotel before moving on to yet another UNESCO World Heritage Site, Agra Fort. Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 CE, this large fort is made of red sandstone, and its elegant buildings reflect the synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. Its maze of courtyards, mosques, and private chambers echo the story of the Mughal Empire.

Next, enjoy some shopping in Agra, which is known for its unique handicrafts made of marble with soft-stone inlay work. The city’s other major handicraft products besides inlay work are leather, brass, carpets, jewelry, and embroidery work.

At around 1pm, enjoy a lunch break at one of the best local restaurants in the city (at your own expense).

After a memorable day, you will be driven back to Delhi, arriving by 5pm, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.

This tour was the best, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and courteous, he did his best to get us ahead of the lines so we don't miss the sunrise at Taj. The driver even waited for us for 30 mins at the airport because our flight was delayed.

Even though the car showed up one hour late for the pickup, the driver made it to reach the Taj Mahal on time for the opening the long queue was skipped, due to guide sort of priority access. The guide Subhash explained me around and also left plenty of time to just take pics and enjoy the place. We then head off for breakfast to a nearby hotel and then off to the Agra Fort, which I strongly recommend to visit as very much more well preserved and rich, than the one in Old Delhi. Subhash was kind, friendly and available to answer all questions and explain more about history or specific topics. Taj Mahal alone definitely worth the trip, even if you only have half day time, it's an easy commute from Delhi.

Five Crazy Airline Girls in India for just three days This quick trip was originally planned to just visit the Taj Mahal. However because we work for an airlines and fly standby we decided to add a day on to our two day quick trip. When we first started researching tours to the Taj Mahal we stumbled upon the Sunrise tour to the Tahj Mahal. We booked with Viator Tours that worked Nikita Holidays. I was really impressed with the service of Nikita Holidays. Raj sent me a message via WhatsApp with our initial tour information and asked me if I need anything other assistances while in India. Having a WhatsApp point of contact throughout the trip was very helpful. After adding the extra day Raj was very accommodating and quickly confirmed the changes that I requested. Also Raj was really helpful with the many trip planning questions I had and even arranged for airport pick up. We booked the 3 tours with Nikita.         Private Day-Tour to Jaipur Including Jai Mandir from Delhi o        Driver-Vishanloved him!!/Guide-Ghanshyamvery knowledgeable         Full-Day City Tour of New Delhi/Old Delhi o        Driver-Sumeetgood driver/Guide-Sunilreally fun!!         Sunrise Tour/ Private Tour: Full-Day Agra City Tour Including Taj Mahal and Agra Fort o        Driver-Dheerajvery helpful/Guide-Subhashnice and patient Our Driver, Vishan was waiting for us out of the International Indra Gandhi AirportDelhi and had water and marigold leis for us when we got to his car. After a crazy ride Friday night traffic! to our hotel in downtown Delhi, Vishan said goodnight and advised us he would see us in the morning. In the morning he picked us up in his nice air-conditioned car and started out on our 4-hour drive to Jaipur. Vishan was an excellent driver and had a lot of fun and educational conversation the whole way there. The next couple of days we received the same great service from all our drivers and guides as we did from Vishan. All of our guides spoke incredibly well and detailed all the sites we saw. They took photos for us and did an amazing job. Of course, I must mention the Taj Mahal. Sure, you've seen a million photos of it, but viewing it for the first time as the sun rises will still take your breath away. It is truly better I believe in the morning than at any other time of the day, it was worth getting up early for. We skipped the crowds and barely had to wait for anything! We had a tour around Agra and were shown how marble inlay was done. People in India are naturally friendly and welcoming. We just spent an incredible 3 days travelling around just a small part of India and saw loads of amazing things. India isnt the easiest place to travel and often a little extra comfort or assistance can go a long way to ensuring you have an enjoyable and memorable trip. But for first time visitors, and those who have a limited time to spend in India and want some support and assistance with making sure they have the perfect trip, Nikita Holidays is ideal. The trip was enjoyable and was a good mix of activities. Overall, the service provided was excellent. They took extra care to coordinate with us at every step of the process. We will definitely choose Nikita Holidays for future visits to India.

We loved our trip to Agra! Rocky, our tour guide, was terrific! He was so knowledgeable about Agra and really allowed my mother and I to explore. We did have a very foggy start to our morning, however Rocky knew the best time to come to the Taj Mahal and we were able to see it no problem. We skipped the crowds and barely had to wait for anything! Our driver was also very safe and we enjoyed the car ride to and from Agra. Highly recommend!

We 3 girls originally booked the one day sunrise tour but switched to stay in Agra overnight and therefore leave Delhi later. The company was very accommodating and quickly made the switch. Our driver, Brijesh, was wonderful. He picked us up at the hotel right on time and drove us to Agra. He was a great, safe driver - car was clean and comfortable and he had snacks/juice/water/candy for our trip. We arrived in Agra and Roki, our tour guide was at the hotel. We quickly checked in and went straight to the Taj Mahal. Roki was also wonderful. He knows everyone there which was very helpful. The lines were extremely long and we didnt wait in any of them. He was also great at finding places for pictures and making sure no one got in any of them. After a couple hours there, we went to the Agra Fort and then some shops in town before bringing us back to our hotel. Roki was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend requesting him as your tour guide. Brijesh picked us up in the morning, right on time again, even though we were running late. He was ready to bring us to the Baby Taj but we decided to go straight back to Delhi instead. He still stopped to show us the front and back and took pictures for us. I would hire Brijesh to drive me everywhere if I could so I would definitely highly recommend requesting him as well. We had a great weekend and it was all thanks to Brijesh and Roki! Thanks again!

What an amazing day! Even though it was an early start it was well worth it! The driver Vipin and our tour Guide Rajesh were both amazing and friendly. They made it easy for us to enjoy our trip and Rajesh knew so much about the sights along the way. He was even a great photographer! Perfect day!

What an excellent day! Highly recommend to wake up early and go for sunrise in Taj Mahal. We have beaten the crowd and could even make pictures without any people. And there is something special in the air when the sun is rising I was travelling as single lady and was a bit worried if it is safe enough. But the driver Prem and guide Rajesh took a very good care of me!

Early morning pickup for a beautiful sunrise over the Taj Mahal. Our driver was great as well as our guide Rocky. He was very informative and did everything at our pace. We were even able to squeeze in a visit to Fatehpur Sikri Fort which I would highly recommend if there’s time.

We were picked up in the morning at 230am from the hotel, and driven to a hotel in Agra where our tour guide Rocky was waiting, and we were taken to the Taj Mahal. It is truly better I believe in the morning than at any other time of the day. Less people, and in our case, a great sunrise with little to no smog. Rocky told us other days have had serious smog where the sun didn't cut through it, and on those days you can barely see the Taj Mahal. Rocky was very knowledgeable of the history of the area. He even got some good photos of us at the Taj Mahal with our cameras. After the Taj Mahal we went to Agra Fort, of which there was a lot of history and culture to it as well. Breakfast was inbetween the two. There wasn't too much time for shopping although we were taken to some local shops or emporiums as I believe the signs said, which were basically indoor bazaars but way pricier than an actual baazar. A true local bazaar would have been nice, other wise the trip was great. Dropped off at the hotel later that evening. Driver did great on the trip also.

This tour was amazing with a great guide and driver with Ravi and Raj. Only thing was the smog in the morning but of course that’s out of anyone’s control! The Taj Mahal is a site to see!

Great day. Prem, our driver was punctual, friendly and full of information on almost everything we asked him about. The car was comfortable, air conditioned and he provided Wi-Fi for the entire ride. Raj, our guide in Agra was friendly, helpful and got us some great pics at the Taj and fort. 5 stars

Both the driver and the tour guide were excellent. Our driver, Prem, went out of his way to make sure the tour was as great as possible and was always very humble, polite, and friendly. I also told Prem I thought he should become a tour guide someday because his knowledge and English was so good. Likewise, the tour guide Raj from 'Nikita Holidays' made you feel more like family than a customer. Because of the quality and candor of these two guys alone, I give the trip 5 stars! Thanks both!

Arrangements worked perfectly. Great driver Ravi to/from Agra. Our guide was knowledgeable with excellent English. Visited the Taj and Red Fort, of course: also an inlaid stoneware making factory that we could have done without although we ended up buying a little something, and we declined the offer of visiting other shopping sires. We had been warned that Agra was a oot more expensive than Delhi, and our exoperience supported this. Having an early start to be at the Taj by the time it opened was a great idea, meaning we were not fighting hude crowds. Unfortunately the region was suffering one of its regular winter smogs and so our views of the Taj were always slightly misty. Actually, we found the Red Fort to be more interesting than the Taj.The tours were at a brisk pace, but were designed to give us some time to ourselves to go off and photograph to our hearts' content. The guide Edi, I think - but my memory may be failing me pointed out some grat places to photogrpah from. Ravi was good company, and it was interesting to visit some service stations with him on the way: at one of them he stormed off to find out why we had been charged 12 for 2 Italian ice creams: turns out is was only a partial rip-off - the ice cream was priced at about 1 a scoop, but the price plaque had been hidden and the vendor gave us 2 small scoops of each flavour we asked for.

The tour was great and well organized. We received a confirmation via WhatsApp the night before with details on the driver and he arrived right on time. The drive was safe and smooth. our guide Subash was very enthusiastic and friendly. While he spoke a little fast, our overall experience was great.

Prem Driver to Agra and Rocky Guide for Taj Mahal and Agra Fort were fantastic! I really enjoyed everything about this tour. This was my first trip to India, and this tour was the highlight of my trip! Definitely would recommend this tour!

The driver Bobby showed up on time and was waiting for me outside. He was friendly, a good driver and had a clean car. The drive was peaceful with very little traffic. One pit stop along the way for a bathroom break and some chia tea. Arrived in Agra around 6am and met with the tour guide Rajesh. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He knew where to take the best photos and gave me time to explore the sites on my own when he was done with his tour. We had one stop along the tour for a marble demonstration with a light sales pitch but nothing aggressive. This was part of the tour so it wasnt a surprise. Afterwards I told him I had no interest in shopping and he respected that. The drive back to Delhi was about 3 hours and then we hit Delhi traffic. Took another 1-1.5 hours to get back to Hotel. Again this was expected. Would recommend this tour to anyone.

The tour was amazing! We were picked up promptly by D.K., who was an excellent driver and navigated us safely around. When we got to Agra, we met our guide, Manoj. He was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. His love of his country and its history made the tour very enjoyable!

One word - Amazing! Our tour guide, Mahesh Kushwah, was the most knowledgeable and flexible guide I've met. Our driver, Ravi, was a safe driver and personable. Both put us at ease immediately and were very articulate and professional. Mahesh is extremely knowledgeable not only about Taj Mahal, but Agra in general. He tailors your tour and takes you places you want to go. For example, I wanted to bring back a soccer ball as a gift for my son. This is not a typical gift, but Mahesth was able to take me to a sports store where there was a wide selection. He knows his city very well and gave us information about shopping in Agra. I asked lots of questions and our guide and driver answered all of them. They even stopped by the side of the road to show us a bunch of antelope, which was really fun. They were flexible and easy to talk to. I'm going with a private tour every time now. If you do this tour, request both and you won't regret it. They never asked for a tip, but I gave them one because they did such an awesome job!

Thank you to Prem and Seema for a memorable visit to Agra. The journey begin with Prem waited for me way before 2.30am for a 3hours journey to Agra. The car was comfortable and he Prem was very dedicated to drive at the speed limit of 80km/hr. We reached Agra by 6am slightly more than 3 hours due to heavy traffic in Delhi even at 2.30am!! After short break at the hotel in Agra I met my tour guide Ms Seema. Seema is very knowledgeable and patience. To my surprise she has a master degree holder in History. We started at Taj Mahal by 6.30am. It was a heavy Saturday morning with people from all over the world. After 30mins quing up we managed to enter and enjoy the beautiful garden outside the Taj Mahal before entering it. It was a very memorable experience since I never thought that I would able to come here and see the with my naked eyes. After Taj we went for a quick breakfast at the first hotel when we dropped by (it's all covered in the package) and then we went to the Agra Fort whereby Seema once again did a very good job explaining all the history behind. After a short souvenirs shopping we went back to Delhi and safely arrived after 4 hours.
