Satish Dhar was amazing. I traveled with a friend with mobility issues and Satish made sure she was well looked after and safe. He has a wealth of information about India and answered all of our questions. He went above and beyond, ensuring that we all had the experiences that we wanted, even if they weren't part of the itinerary! We always felt safe with Satish and he even held our hands when we crossed busy streets! When an ATM was not to be found, he lent me money and it was much appreciated. His beautiful accent was very easy to understand and I loved listening to his speak. Satish is a kind, intelligent and gentle man who deserves a Tour Leader award and more! ”
I really enjoyed my trip. The organization and logistics were excellente. The time schedule and itinerary really covered very well the region of Rajasthan throught out the 2 weeks. The quality of hotels (apart from Dehli Hotel Amondz that was horrible!) were specially good as it included in most of the cities visited, heritage houses of more than 200 years history which offered very updated and maintained facilities and services.
What I enjoyed the most was our Tour Guide Nand Singh Rathore. He is a very kind, knowledgeable and trustworthy person. He is an exceptional professional, who always took personally care of all our needs during the 15 days together. He helps us experienced Rajasthan as locals.
I will certainly choose once again On the Go Tour for my next trip.”
the tour of India from Delhi to Varanasi was great. I did submit a review form for that. This is my review of the seven day add on to Nepal. There were five of us so we did not have a guide travelling with us. Our driver had very limited English and was not communicating with us. he would, for example, stop and just jump out and leave us not knowing if we were stopping for a break or meal. The journey was too far by van, the roads are terrible and the van had no shocks. 11 hour bumpy ride from Varanasi to Lumbini was not pleasant at all, in fact it was sickening. we should have flown. Also the drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu was too long. The 35 minute flight would have been a delight . hotels were very good along the way and local guides in Pokhara and Kathmandu helped us with illnesses. Chitwan resort staff were excellent. But because of the extensive travel by van on poor roads, i would not recommend this extension.”
