Great tour guides that where very knowledgeable and pleasant. Highly recommended. We did both in one day to to lack of time would recommend to do them separately as a lot of information and walking for one day.

Both tours were amazing. Guides on both were very knowledgable. However we would have appreciated more time to stop and study some of the amazing art work in the Museum! Almost lost the guide as we could hear her through our Ear pieces, not realising she had moved on!!! Very lucky with the weather for December! So many people everywhere that we were glad we didn't do the trip in the summer!! Would like to go back and visit the places we missed!

This tour was exactly as waiting in long lines. The tour guides for both the Colosseum and Vatican were enthusiastic and very knowledgeable..... being able to answer many questions and details about these attractions.

What a super time we had in Rome, Colosseum and Roman Forum were excellent. Went on to the Vatican and the experience was awesome. Be prepared to do plenty of walking as on your feet all day over unevening ground and many stairs to climb. Doing the combined tour is hard going but well worth it. Only issue had to find your own way to the Vatican from Colosseum, we took a taxi between the two and cost €25 but walked back and took 35 minutes.

This tour is well worth your time. The ability to skip the long lines was great. The guides share the ancient history with details and facts not commonly found in text books. The art is breathtaking and the architecture leaves you awestruck!

Sev with the Colosseum was remarkable; he was a wealth of knowledge and our visit would simply not have been the same without him. The tour of the Vatican was excellent as well, and skipping the long lines was well worth the cost of the tour.

• Submitted 14 Nov 2019
It was nice to pack it all in on a hot Summer day. The tour guides were very patient and very knowledgeable. Travellers be aware though that the two tours involve a lot of walking, so pack your most comfortable shoes!

We had wonderful tour guides who did an excellent job. Their names were Amil and Eddy. Amil was a great communicator who spoke beautiful English and shared a vast amount of information. Eddy added lots of humor and was quite knowledgeable about the Vatican.

We did not have a lot of time in Rome, so this was the best way for us to see the most important sites. Our tour guides were informative, friendly, and helpful. This was a very positive experience. It is a long day of walking on uneven cobblestone at Palatine Hill. I noticed some of the older people in our group were struggling, it may be worth looking at other tour options if you have mobility issues.

We only had 2 days in Rome, so we really needed a tour that would allow us to see a lot of things in a short amount of time. This tour did just that. We were able to see the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, Roman Forum, Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica all in the course of about 7 hours (including an hour break for lunch). Even though we visited in October, which is considered to be on the edge of low season in Italy, there were still quite a lot of people at all of the main sites. Despite this, we were able to skip most lines and that made it completely worth it for us. We entered the Vatican Museums close to 3 o'clock and, even with stops to discuss exhibits and to enjoy the Sistine Chapel, we still made it to St. Peter's Basilica more than half an hour before some other members of our party who did not go on the tour and stood in lines instead. In the areas where we did need to wait (due to maximum capacity limits at the tour sites), the tour guides took the opportunity to show us pictures and provide explanations of what we would be seeing. These "lessons" were very interesting and informative and left us feeling like we weren't actually waiting in line at all. There are several ways to get transportation between the Colosseum area and Vatican city. Public transportation is easy to use and will get you to the next location in enough time to have a quick lunch. We decided to take a taxi over to the Vatican in order to allow for a leisurely lunch nearby and that was worth it for us. At the meeting points there are plenty of tour personnel to help you figure out where you need to be. We had not done a tour with the radios and headphones before and I have to say that it was perfect for this experience. As you can imagine, in these large crowds it is easy to fall behind where your guide is, but with the headset in you can hear all of the information and take your time appreciating the site without feeling rushed to keep up.

Doing both tours in one day was great. We enjoyed our tour guide at the Vatican he was so nice, well informed and would take pictures at all the key spots. Skipping the line was so worth it as both locations had lengthy lines.
