My partner and I highly recommend this guided tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Our guide, Annalisa, was excellent -- knowledgeable, friendly. We enjoyed it immensely.

Touring the Vatican does not require a guide but you would be nuts to try to do this on your own. Spend the money to get a full tour, earlier in the morning the better, then if you really need to visit come the next day and repeat on your own. The tour guides do get special treatment and you do skip lines! (Very long lines). Educated guides, head phones, good pace.

Well organised, clear instructions and this type of ticket suited our needs. Our main aim was to avoid the long queues and this was achieved.

Our tour guide, "Sissy???" was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. Very passionate in what she does.

We purchased the ability to skip the lines and get in efficiently. This is what this ticket does. Viator delivered. Once in, the museum is jammed and the Sistine Chapel is packed. Kind of checks the box. Much more interesting things to do in Rome.

Absolutely amazing place of history! Despite the line, be sure to see St.Peter's Basilica as well. There is nothing like this anywhere else in Italy! Ladies, be sure your shoulders and knees are covered - the employees take respect of this holy place very seriously.

This was a self guided tour but the skip the line ticket was worth purchasing. Don't miss seeing these sites while in Rome!!!

As the name suggests these are no wait tickets, they meet you at the bottom of some stairs nearby (remember to check the instructions they provide on where to meet and how to get these) then once in you can explore at your own pace. They don't provide much else in terms of informative talks or anything. ALSO REMEMBER TO DRESS APPROPRIATELY COVERING SHOULDERS AND KNEES FOR THE HOLY ROOMS - although men are able to get away with shorts just at the knee so don't panic if it is really hot!

Easily found the person in charge at the meeting spot, several of their groups were meeting there. We were led easily into the Vatican and waited a very short time for our leader to get our tickets. Then we were off on our own. Exactly what I wanted - no hassles!

Great self paced tour with teens. It was hot and crowded but did it at our own pace. Was so great to get skip the line tickets !

Very pleased with these no wait tickets, City Wonders rep was on time and got us through to the museum very quickly. My family and I had a lovely day at the Vatican.

Exactly as advertised and expected. My daughter and I met at the meeting point, bypassed the long line and received our tickets quickly. Recommend!

Excellent way to slowly see the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel without being rushed thru. It was very worthwhile to get the no wait tickets. We breezed in. We even backtracked and saw the Sistine Chapel twice.

Our guide, Elizbeth, was timely, knowledgeable and passionate about the tour. As a native to Rome, she was able to give us insight to things not on a typical historical tour. She was courteous to the crowds but also made sure we were positioned to see everything from a premium vantage point. Highly recommend if you are wanting the major points without spending all day in a tour. Wear comfy shoes.

Quick and easy with the help of our guide. Went straight past the long line. Very happy and worth purchasing ahead of time!

This was an easy service, though ours was unguided the guide did give us some good tips before we went into the museum. It was somewhat difficult to find the meeting place, it's not exactly in the piazza that they say it is, more towards the vatican near a little church.

Excellent tour! Alexandra is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour and really gave us a great tour. The 3 hours were over in a flash! The place is super busy but actually totally fine, just go along and enjoy the ride and absolutely do not forget your camera! We managed to pack in the amazing tapestry and map corridors and other beautiful areas on the way to the sistine chapel. You get 15 minutes in the sistine which doesnt sound like much but was actually perfect. Then a bit more in st Peters basilica, it ended dead on time. You can get an extended tour which is 1.5 hours longer but I didnt have time, would have jumped at the chance otherwise. Plenty more to go back and see and will book city wonders again. Thank you

Worked out perfectly. Very knowledgeable guide brought us right in. No waiting. Id definitely recommend.

We had no trouble finding the meeting point, where the City of Wonders representative was already waiting. We were given tickets and a map of the Vatican, which also had information about the Sistine Chapel paintings. We were expedited past the waiting crowds and promptly entered the Vatican where we could explore at our own pace.

We decided we wanted to do the tour at our own pace. The skip the line ticket was just right. I only wish we had received a map so we knew what we were looking at

The meeting place for this visit is slightly confusing to find. We saw the promised blue jackets of the tour operators but it was the wrong place. Not a problem, the charming guide telephoned to the leader of our tour and arranged that he would pick us up as we were closer to the Museum anyway. He sluiced us through in no time, and by 8.10 we were in the Sistine Chapel along with just a handful of others. We had plenty of time to admire the frescoes in almost privacy. We then went along for a much needed coffee - we had had to skip breakfast in order to be on time. Same experience there, we were the only people in the cafe, but when we left, the queue for self-service was very long. Then to the painting galleries where the crowds were bigger but bearable (it seems groups don't do the pinacoteca). Then to the sculpture galleries which were so full that it was extremely difficult and we left fairly quickly. Go early, or do one of the wonderful evening visits (summer only and this was November)
